I believe that someone once said that these quests were to give you doctor access to the Strange Apparati. Supposedly Square changed their mind and added in the doctor codes instead. Take this with a grain of salt, as this was something that I heard a long, long time ago.Originally Posted by Freysi

Here's the DNC quest if you guys haven't seen it yet:
Dancer Quest Starter? Marble Bridge
If ye can bring me ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?6?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80?, I'll rethink me stance on lettin' ye into me troupe.?Prompt?
Feast your eyes on the stunning steps of Troupe Brilioth!?Prompt?
I began studying here after one of Laila's performances moved me to tears.
Such grrrace...such talent...?Prompt?
I overheard you speaking with Laila.
So, you think you can dance??Prompt?
You'll have to show you're absolutely committed before she'll even think about taking you under her wing.?Prompt?
Maybe I could ask Laila for some hints about this ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?3?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80?. But how can I be sure you're rrreally serious...??Prompt?
I know!
Have you heard of the Lion Springs Tavern in San d'Oria??Prompt?
If you have the courrrage to dance on that stage, it will prrrove to me you have a passion for performance.?Prompt?
If you have the courrrage to dance on the stage in the Lion Springs Tavern, I'll ask Laila about that ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?3?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80?.?Prompt?
That must have been some performance you put on in the Lion Springs. News of your “unique” dancing style made it all the way to Jeuno.?Prompt?
Well, I guess I have to keep my end of the deal and tell you what I learned about that stone.?Prompt?
I hate to brrreak it to you, but finding ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?6?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80? might be close to impossible.?Prompt?
Twenty years ago, ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?5?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80? could be found lying at the bottom of Lake Mechieume in Jugner Forest.?Prompt?
But their dazzling glow made them such a collector's item that not a single one remains there today.?Prompt?
I believe our merciless leader has set you a task that cannot be completed.?Prompt?
It's a shame.
While you still lack the skill, you certainly have the spirit of a dancer...?Prompt?
Ye here again??Prompt?
Ye've brought me ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?6?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80??
If ye think ye can trick me with some painted piece o'...?Prompt?
!!!?Prompt?
Wh-where did ye get this!??Prompt?
And now I s'pose ye're going to hold me to my word, are ye??Prompt?
<Sigh>...
Well, ye were up t'the task, and no mistakin'.
Welcome to Troupe Brilioth.?Prompt?
Ye know, I have another ?Possible Special Code: 01??Possible Special Code: 05?3?BAD CHAR: 8280??BAD CHAR: 80??BAD CHAR: 80?, but its light faded years ago...?Prompt?
Lookin' at this rock reminds me o' the day I learned the true joy of dancin'.?Prompt?
I can still hear the sound of the pipes...?Prompt?
...??Prompt?
Ye look awfully familiar fer some reason...?Prompt?
Nah, it couldn't be...?Prompt?
Now, before ye begin yer trainin', let me tell ye a little somethin' about the origin o' our dance.?Prompt?
It's a martial style based on the traditional Bastokan “Kriegstanz”--a dance used in actual battle.?Prompt?
O' course, we've learned how t'adapt this martial style into a form suitable fer performances.?Prompt?
But first, ye'll have t'work on the basic, martial movements.?Prompt?
Rhea!
Show this rookie the ropes!?Prompt?
And now yer body has been conditioned fer the fundamental movements o' the Kriegstanz.?Prompt?
Don't just stand there scuffin' yer feet!
I expect ye t'spend ev'ry spare moment practicin' those moves!
Troupe Brilioth only accepts the best!?Prompt?
You can now become a dancer!?Prompt?
Dance is learned by doin', not by watchin'.
Get yer body movin', and dance until ye drop!?Prompt?
What are you gawpin' at?
I don't give out autographs.?Prompt?
I'm glad you've joined our little grrroup, but be warned: the hard work has only just begun!?Prompt?
They're so pretty!
I wanna be a dancer too someday!?Prompt?
Two maidens of the battlefield...and a Galka??Prompt?
There are many “dancers,” but only a select few are truly brilliant.?Prompt?
And among those brilliant few, they say the most talented and graceful is visited by the Divinity of Dance.
Could that be true??Prompt?

Good catch. I didn't even notice the Wolfram and (Engel)hart reference. lolOriginally Posted by Deftscythe

Lost in Translation! The Angel one was a good catch though~

Stolen from Taj's page, Vellum is a "High-quality parchment made from sheepskin. This particular piece features a decorative border."
Lich killing in the past? I can't log in atm, but could somebody check the existing one?
Vellum is a synth...I just finished my stack.
Dark Crystal
1 x Gold Dust
1 x Sheep Leather
1 x Rolanberry
Leathercrafting, I don't know cap since my 100 Leathercraft friend synthed for me. Gold Dust needs 40+ GS though...unless you wanna break a lot of materials. The normal yield was one piece but he did HQ for more iirc.
What I really want to know is where this NPC is. How can he be in the Eld. Necro and Batt. Downs at the same time? Also I don't think we can even get in the Necropolis in the past right now, unless he is hiding in one of the little barrow rooms somewhere. There is a B. Downs zone in the past at least...well, I guess I can look around the present zone anyway.
Neither of the NPCs listed as clients for the quest are in the .dats for the current incarnations of Batallia or Eldieme.
The NPCs are however, in The Eldieme Necropolis [S], but not in Batallia Down [S].Originally Posted by Deftscythe

luck charms for their elders.
Deliver the charms as your first
duty to the order.
So, ye think ye can dance.

Have we found out how we get to the past? >.> Is there a quest? Where do the missions start?

Erlene is at the very south entrance to Eldieme. Bring 12 sheets of Vellum and BLM or RDM main, you have to use Manafont or Chainspell.
