I can't wait to hear more about this quest. The idea of a repeatable quest Reraise II earring makes me happy in the pants. Goodbye blowing money on 50k Reraise gorgets?Originally Posted by Mosh

Maybe I'm being too optimistic. This is SE after all. Either way I won't be in game till next week, so hopefully somebody else can figure this out![]()
Atelloune's Lament (one time only)
Give her 1 lady bug wing, recieve 1 pair of trainee's gloves (Latent: Bonecrafting skill+1 ra/ex)
After talking with literally every single NPC in Windurst[S], I wound up with 3 quests--
Redeeming Rocks -- ...Already in the thread above.
Healing Herbs
Client: Maju-Naju (Rhinostery, Windurst Waters)
Summary: Maju-Naju's research has ground to a hault.
He needs research materials that are hard to come by
in this day and age.
Ideas: ...I have no clue. This is really vague. Talk to him present-day and see if he complains about missing out on some past work or something?
The Dawn of Delectability
Client: Ranpi-Monpi (Windurst Waters)
Summary: ...((axed for boringness)) He wants some fancy food that he doesn't think anyone in Windy can make anymore.
Ideas: Tried trading him all the food I had on me (3 types of sushi, meatkabobs, carbonara). Nothing. Like the last, this is really vague. Cheesy French accent Taru ftw!
I greatly lament the near-total destruction of the taru Hat Shop. Lastly--er... did anyone notice how all the buildings/doors in Windypast are 'non-adjusted'... meaning they're all Taru-height? It's awesome!
Anyone adding quests to the wiki, please add [[Category:Crystal War Quests]] at the bottom.
Quests that have been completed so far can be found at: http://wiki.bluegartr.com/Category:Crystal_War_Quests
edit: made a mini-guide for people to add/edit quests: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=26460
Now that mine has sold, I can spoil the reward a little.
Gifts of the griffon yeilded me a deathstone.
Starts in sandoria past...
(dont remember exact names or locs but...)
By watchdog alley there is an npc behind the portcullis (By the caged orcs), talk to him...
zone out
Talk to him again
Follow directions to the young griffons, theres one in charge a little infront of the warmachine
talk to him, hand out feathers to the 7 npcs, talk to him again, enjoy your deathstone ;x
Can you join more than one nation? I'm going to Bastok to turn in the blue recommendation letter, but I've also got the green recommendation letter. Would be nice to get the Red letter and get a free deathstone <_<
Don't know if it's part of the mission, managed to get two really nice quests done though.
The Tigress Stirs (Dhea Prandoleh, Cobra Command, Windurst Waters [S])
Got this quest after I joined the Cobras, went to the Starfall Hillock at (I-6), West Sarutabaruta and clicked the ??? right in front of the tree. After that I went to the Acolyte Hostel at (K-5), Windurst woods, northern map and click the Acolyte Hostel door to finish the quest.
Reward: Hi-Elixir
The Tigress Strikes (Dhea Prandoleh, Cobra Command, Windurst Waters [S])
Next quest (Logged out after the first one and zoned into the Mog House, so I don't know if you have to zone once after finishing the first quest) is called The Tigress Strikes, you get it from Dhea Prandoleh, same NPC as before.
This time you've got to go to Fort Karugo-Narugo. Enter the Fort at (F-10) (should be the shortest way if you're going to walk from Windurst to the Fort). Once you're inside the Fort go to (H-10) and talk with Rotih Moalghett who's standing on the balcony. Watch the cutscene and leave the Fort through any entrance, preferably one of the two entrances to the main square.
On the outside Map of the Fort and check the area around (I-9), you'll find a ???. Click it, watch the cutscene and click it again to spawn an NM War Lynx.
Had about 309 Defense on my 75 DRG/RDM and it hit me for about 100 damage a shot. Used Blaster, a gaze attack called Blink of Peril (don't know what it does since I only turned around to hit it) and a WS called Pounce (193 damage) which seems to deal physical damage.
Once it's dead click the ??? again and watch the Cutscene. Gonna return to the Fort now to see if I have to talk with Rotih Moalghett and return to Windurst after that, gonna update this post later.
Edit: Nevermind, Yagudos took over the Fort, Rotih Moalghett's not here anymore.
Edit: Going back to Dhea Prandoleh worked, reward is a Star Globe (Furnishing).
Can't get any quests from the Acolyte Hostel room I previously clicked or any other NPCs that were involved. Going to wait for the next ingame day and check again after Japan midnight.
Bastok
Too Many Chefs
Client: Ferghus (Craftsmen's Eatery, Metalworks)
Summary:
The new apprentice cook is being blamed for everything that goes wrong in the eatery, and today doesn't seem to be any different...
1. Talk to Ferghus
2. Talk to the new chef, Leonsomthing
3. Go back to the past and talk to Raginmind (hes next to the brd shop on the far east side
4. ???
This is as far as ive got but im speculating here. Wont spoil it but it seems that the item that needs to be found are the Red Oven Mitts (see taj .dat mining thread for the item) Its rare/ex so if anyone comes across it, please post where. I killled about 30 quadavs in north gusta and got nothing.
A Proper Burial
Client: Offa (House, Bastok Markets)
Summary:
The time capsule containing letters written by Offa and his friends during the war has been plundered by Goblins. He sure would like to know what his childhood dreams were...
1. Talk to Offa ( hes above the dragon claws house in present bastok)
2. Go to the past and talk to Offa (hes in the same spot roughly)
3. He gives you a choice, but i dont think it matters (I chose the bury in city option)
4. Go to present and talk to Offa again
5. Go back to past.....again and talk to Offa
5. Go back to present...... and talk again....this time he talks about needing.....
fish bones...... from gobbie diggers
This is fucked up shit lol
As for the amount of talking i did to the same npc i dont know if you have to do that but the story bounces back and forth so its probably what you have to do. Can suggest otherwise if someone finds a easier way.
Do you have to complete the quest to join the san d'orian forces to start the quest for the deathstone? And if so, is there a way to join another nation afterwards? really would like to get a cheap gobbie bag, but I was hoping to join the windurstian forces.

I think it's pretty much on the borderline between (I-9) and (I-10), just keep searching, check both (I-9) and (I-10) if necessary, when I found it it was pretty close to a small wall a Campaign NPC was standing behind of. Could also be that it despawns during Campaign, no idea >< You are searching on the correct map, aren't you? Not the one inside the actual Fort, it's on the map on which you can also see the sea.
Edit: I'll just change it to "around (I-9)", should be close enough, thanks for your help :>
Found it. ^^ Between I-8/I-9 ish. ThanksOriginally Posted by Darakor

Dunno if anyone posted this already.
Found the key item needed for Redeeming Rocks in Vunkerl Inlet at F-8 next to a bridge.
I got the ??? for the Vunkerl Inlet quest, went back to talk to Rarcasmeult to finish the quest and he isn't here. Garlaige isn't being raided, so what now?![]()
the region map updates kind of slow, garlaige probably really is being sieged.Originally Posted by blister1

Vanguard-X I anyone?
Reinforcement knights have been dispatched to assist in the defense of our nation's strongholds. You are to travel to any checkpoint garrison under San d'Orian control, and escort the awaiting knight to his final destination.
Does anyone know what Garrison's they are talking about in the past? Or do you think they maybe mean future Garrison's, far from likely.
I am thinking this will be available to do properly after the first Tally, and we see who controls what with the flag, that or I cancelled my tag for nothingOriginally Posted by Serif

You can only have one open at a time, correct?Originally Posted by Lordwafik
