Yeah, other people in your party can have different ones open, and you can join on their ones and get rewards for doing them, and vice versa.Originally Posted by Serif

Go to a Gate guard near a zone line (for example, if in Ronfaure, go to the zone line to Jugnar Forest). There's a NPC named "Gate Guard" there. Talk to him, and a NPC Reinforcement will appear. Escort him back to the tower where the Campaign battles occur. Occasionally, he'll start running off on his own, but he moves slowly. Just talk to him, and he'll go back to following you. When you reach the tower, talk to the guard there (the one where you get your campaign battle status), and he'll give you 100 limit points. Go back to the person you got the OP from and get your allied points.
Really, the only danger is the guy running off on his own. Outside of that, it's really easy.

Not necessarily, about one minute after that a bunch of Campaign NPCs came and tried to take over the Fort, so it might have been because of Campaign, even though I didn't hear any Campaign Music at that time.Originally Posted by Zhais
Basically, what I'm asking here is if you have to maintain allegiance with one country and finish all three of their quests before moving on elsewhere.
It would make some sense of The death/angelstone quests were tied to the Sandy quest 'series' since there are 3 in each nation. As is, the 3 Bastok and Windy quests once you join force are already tied together in the wiki. I think the Sandy quests need to be linked as well (Steamed Rams to the 2 Griffon quests). Sadly, if this is the case, I'm going to have to hop my nation in the past repeatedly to get all the rewards. Deathstone/Angelstone in Sandy don't really seems like comparable rewards to the total junk you get elsewhere. Are you 'supposed' to do Bastok > Windy > Sandy? The value of the rewards are so comically mismatched, yet clearly scaled...
In any case, the lazy type of person is going to go to Sandy to get the decent rewards then not switch. It's going to give Sandy an automatic leg-up in Campaign. The other lazy type of person won't realize you can get death/angelstones for free and will just join Windy since that's the invite letter you get first. In either case, Bastok seems like it's going to be at a major disadvantage since there's neither incentive nor story direction to try to get you there.
"The Fighting Fourth" is also not listed on the quest list in the wiki (despite having an entry)... there should be 18 total. 3 map, 2 job, 1 repeatable, 3 untied, and 3x each nation when you join their forces.
Did this one today, I was helping on Aurik's one (he's signed up to Windy, so he got AN and I just got exp).Originally Posted by Serif
A garrison is counted as any gate that is on the zoneline of two zones, and has a < nation > NPC on it.
For example, there's one in Saura/Meri line and there's a NPC on the Saura side. Anyway we chose windurst.
Talk to the NPC and she'll follow you, like a normal escort. Easy 100 exp.
Updates on 2 Windy quests...
The Dawn of Delectability--
--Talk to Ranpi-Monpi outside the cooking guild in the past.
--Talk to Ranpi-Monpi in the cooking guild in the present for a cutscene.
--Collect the following for him: Bastore sweeper, walnut, dragon fruit, stick of pepperoni.
((--Return to him, then return and trade in the past?))
...Out of the 4 of those items, only 1 has a wiki entry, and it looks like a pain. I have no clue on the others. There's 'probably' a vendor somewhere[?].
Healing Herbs--
--Click the Rhinostery door in the past for a cutscene.
--Approach the Rhinostery in the present for a cutscene.
...Receive a key item and something mentioned about a fireblossom
--??? ...the key item says it's 'Far Eastern Medicine' but that's not much of a hint. Gonna work on this later today after I wake up.
After that go back to the Rhinostery in the past for a cutscene. Then head to Grauberg. I can't remember the exact position, but I found it a little bit east of the bridge on the southern side of the map, under a tree. Once you have it, go back to the Rhinostery in the past and you'll be rewarded with a bottle of Tincture (don't have a clue what this does). You can go to the Rhinostery in the present for an additional cutscene, but all it does is get rid of the key item.Originally Posted by Aymee
talk to Ronpi Monpi in the present and he gives you the ingredient for a recipe. Bastor Sweeper(fished somewhere), stick of pepperoni(recipe), walnut(?), and dragon fruit(?)Originally Posted by Aymee
going to go harvest in fort to see if I can get the fruit. A friend is logging in grauberg for the nut.
The Bastore Sweeper is fished up in Verunk Inlet or whatever (so says the description). Just looking at the kind of fish it is, Carbon Rod with Sabiki Rig would probably work. I'm suspecting the Dragon Fruit is dropped from Raffesia, though I have absolutely no proof. Pepperoni is a high level ~85 cooking recipe with woodworking sub that requires Buffalo meat and as far as I can tell no new-world ingredients (recipe on ffxiah). Walnut is definitely logged, maybe in Fort-whatever. There's a logging point in the entrance near Waraxe Beak's spawn.
I've been doing some quests with Akido-Marido or whatever (the little d00d who is totally going to wreck ass when he bust Fenfen out on some Yagudos,) and the reward for the second one is a Hi-Elixir. (You talk to a mithra near the campaign sign-up person, get a CS, talk to her again, get another CS, go grab a ??? near the star tree in W-Saru, go back and talk to the Acolyte Hostelry or whatever locked door.) I'm currently on the third quest in that series which involves hunting an NPC in the Fort, whom I can't find due to Campaign / the lack of widescan. It sounds like I'll be doing some fighting and I'm solo, so I decided to go BLM/RDM which loses me widescan.
Again, my first supply quest required Fresh Marjoram and got me 90LP with 480 Notes. I have no more TV near an internet connection, so I'm probably done contributing information for a while.
Btw SE, open up outlands so I can go pick up my e-GF Shantotto and we can slaughter massive amounts of Yagudo together.
The best part is, everyone in the pt gets that exp :DOriginally Posted by Lordwafik
Oh, and it didn't happen much to the Windurstian escort, but whenever the San d'Orian Reinforcement saw a mob he'd run towards it going "Oh, is that an enemy scout?!", you just have to talk to him again to get him to follow you after he runs around like a doofus
The fireblossom is at H-13 in Grauberg.Originally Posted by Mokou

edit: heard walnut is logged in east ron (s) haven't confirmed yet.
I got a walnut logging in E. Ron(s).

Last sale on fish bones on Phoenix was a year ago. So it's time to camp Diggers I guess ...
