For the Bastok quest "Too Many Cooks", you're looking for the Red Oven Mitt, which I got off a quadav in Grauberg [S]. Trade it to Leonhardt in Metalworks for a cutscene. Then go out to Bastok Markets and talk to Umberto next to the music shop for anther cs and your reward, a ra/ex pie called "Aileen's Delight". I haven't eaten it yet, so no idea on stats.

--??? ...the key item says it's 'Far Eastern Medicine' but that's not much of a hint. Gonna work on this later today after I wake up.
After that go back to the Rhinostery in the past for a cutscene. Then head to Grauberg. I can't remember the exact position, but I found it a little bit east of the bridge on the southern side of the map, under a tree. Once you have it, go back to the Rhinostery in the past and you'll be rewarded with a bottle of Tincture (don't have a clue what this does). You can go to the Rhinostery in the present for an additional cutscene, but all it does is get rid of the key item.
Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but the pos is (H-13), if that helps anyone out!

    Re: Quest discussion

I dont know if anyone else has got this, but the minute I entered Windurst Waters [S] I got a cutscene. At the end of the CS i recieved the key item: "Inky Black Yagudo Feather." from a young Ajido-Marujido.

The description reads: A Yagudo feather dropped by the young Ajido-Marujido. It is much larger than a normal Yagudo feather, and radiates a distinct malevolence.

The thing is, I havent got any new quests in my Quest Log and my Mission Log hasnt changed either. So far I have done all the missions and have got up to the mission: "Cait Sith", visited all 3 nations, and unlocked all 9 Cavernous Maws so I was thinking I might have finally started the mission.

Though I could be wrong, I just find it suspicious that my Quest Log hasn't changed.

It's the first quest in the Windurst three part chain. Talk to the NPC on the right side of the auction house looking building where all the mithras are gathered around tents.

I thought the first quest in the Windurst chain was to put putty on the towers?

Might have been a Young? Don't remember, I was killing the Copper/Onyx/Amethyst/Young that spawned not far from the fort where Campaign takes place in Grauberg.

Also- ate Aileen's Delight when I went into Salvage tonight, and ss'd my stats before and after I ate it, so I'll have some general stats after I wake up in the morning (need to go pass out now).

San d'Oria fame? Maybe you have to do the four ladybug wing quest in the past? No idea, I just travelled to the present day and talked to her.

You hit it; the Seeing Spots quest is a prereq for Atelloune's Lament. Just got Lament after finishing Spots.

Actually I have a question; anyone have info on the quest "Message on the Wind" from Romualdo in Batallia Downs? Wasn't listed on BGWiki and when I talked to the npc i did not receive a quest.

    Current theory is, craft skill <60. So using the knife with cooking will yield +3 total with the advanced imagery, whereas at level 60+ advanced imagery alone will yield +3 skill. I wish crafters the best of luck in testing a latent +1 skill effect ;;

Blink of Peril ignores shadows. It's slightly worse than Throat Stab, in that it reduces you to <10HP no matter how much HP you had prior to its strike.

For deathga fun, combine Blink of Peril with Charged Whiskers. Repeat until double-weakened.

You can turn around and avoid Blink of Peril.

I was waiting on Campaign to hit in Karugo and telling people who show up.

    Best auto-trans I could manage to get the point across was <Weapon Skill> Blink of Peril <Danger> HP > 10, <Run Away!>.

Most people still just fight it, get killed, and then go "Oh, duh, run from Blink of Peril."
