    wrong >.>

from the beginning they said Male mithra existed but there were few of them..
Galka on the other hand are neither male nor female... asexual... and they dont reproduce but reincarnate =/

so the only "female" Galka we'll see is a galka dressed up as a woman >.> <.< >.>

Galka are Male and Female and Neither at the same time, so yeah, as was said.

I didn't realise that the catboy gets down and sniffs your crotch for taller races, that's awful, me and my gf did get a laugh from all the mithras going into heat though.

Or, as my old friend (hume monk who was fond of his Panther Mask for fashion) Grif used to say (whenever Mithras randomly accosted him) "OMG MANCAT! HAVE MY BABIES!"

From my understanding, it's not that there are "few" male Mithra, it's just that they are (for lack of a better word) the "housewives" of the race. They generally don't leave the home, let alone the homeland, thus you don't ever find them in locations like Mindartia/Quon. I was surprised to see him get all gnarly on the chocobo with the badass maneuvers, let alone the strength to do it... since SE made male Mithras sound like homeschooled pusses.

Just because you're a fancyboy type doesn't mean you don't learn how to ride. Plenty of spoiled kids do, after all.

Very leonine look on the Malethra too.

Male mithra aren't ronso-sih or butch, SE has dug a grapefruit spoon into my heart. Did I see this coming? Yes, but it doesn't make it any less lame. -_-

    SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!
$10 says that's Cait Sith, the mannerisms are a giveaway; the walk, the way he likes to lean in when he inspects someone, and the eye squint, not to mention his white face and the fact that the cait sith theme is played when you first hear him talk...Either way, he ain't into chicks. ¬¬

Pretty sure she is female, but has a reason for appearing as a male. You saw the effect he had on those chicks, I wouldn't doubt it was intentional. :/

Also, I'm still betting Robel-Akbel is the Star Sibyl in disguise, he's the only Taru I've ever seen who considers the title of earthly deity ridiculous (though, iirc, the Star Sibyl is supposed to be Altana on Vana'diel), and only someone in the position to know the true history of Windurst could think that way.

It'd explain why "he" is playing them all off against each other.

Also, LOL at the thought of two of Windurst's biggest characteres being cross-dressers.

Birds of a feather, baby. They hang out a lot for a reason.

The mission 'Cait Sith' refers to Cait Sith as 'her'. After watching the 'Knot Quite There' CS again, I think I know why Cait Sith is appearing as a male mithra. In fact, it's so obvious it's painful...He's meant to be an intermediary between the taru and the mithra. It's no secret there's friction between them, getting their orders from a charming mithra male, probably the only one on the continent (or really, anywhere near it), will be much better received than from a stubby, eccentric taru. Communication, and thus the War, will go much more smoothly.

    Re: WoTG Mission discussion

I like that Lehko Habhoka theory, it seems like a nice twist that SE would throw in. But what about Perih Vashai saying that that she recognized the name? Has Lehko always been, or did he come about just for these events?

I wish SE would add some text to the present to give out some 'easter-egg' type clues. It would be nifty to talk to Perih Vashai in the present and to have her recognize you.

She didn't indicate that she recognized it, just that there was something odd about it. The way I see it, it's as if we met someone named 'Rob Machiavelli', only less obvious.

I still lay good odds it's Shantotto though. She has the excuse of being "In the northlands" when the truth is, she isn't...and is quite ruthless enough to do exactly what got done.

    Re: WoTG Mission discussion

Please, you think Shantoto's ego could be contained under a mask? She barely hid her identity when she traveled to AU, and she's already a highly respected leader of a War Warlocks, she has no reason to have an alternate identity for more power. Furthermore, she never struck me as a person who would be that level-headed or open to help. Also, if there are rumors of her return, then we'd essentially be out a Warlock Warlord.

The information we've been given on her sounds right; she, in her ego, tried to shut down the largest threat and driving force of the conflict, the Kindred, directly rather than milling about with the Yagudo, who are simply pawns like the other beastmen. Underestimating their power, she now has to return, the very notion of which she must despise more than anything we can possibly imagine. Odds are we're going to see a new Shanttoto.....no laughs, no jokes.....we're gunna see angry Shanttoto....

I made a whole new topic, then I realized this thread is probably where I want to be then

If you're still with me, awesome!

So anyhow, what's the deal with Robel-Akbel? Goddamn, talk about ruthless. I would've never imagined him to flat-out kill someone like that, the way he was painted as this sort of saviour. Then again I guess it makes sense that he's so shrouded in mystery. After doing Bastok's missions, particularly after finishing the BCNM, I believe that Lebhko, the male mithra, is actually a demon in disguise. Much like Marquis Amon and the Ahriman were going to pretend to be the San d'Orian ambassador.

With Darvylle incarcerated, I can't imagine how San d'Oria's storyline will pan out. Will we go back and help Halver and Altennia watch the Young Griffons without Excenmille? Or will we be on the frontlines with Excenmille and Aphonmille? Then there's the whole Count Bifrons things, I find it amazingly awesome that they're using the demon NMs in these cutscenes. It really matches up well with the book Elmer translated for us, such as Bifrons being a guest officer of the Orcish Host. It also makes me excited for two other Demon NMs who I hope make appearances; Baronet Romwe, who disciplined the Yagudo Army (and was re-assigned after severely punishing a High Priest), and Baron Vapula, probably Grand Duke Vapula at this time, since he lost his title for saving the life of a hume black mage.

(This is the SCH AF Spoiler, so I'm tinifying it, only do this for new job AF questlines in this thread, just in case)
Did I mention I love the throwbacks to certain seemingly minute details from that history book Elmer had? For instance Bifrons being inspired by Schultz, who apparently conspired or something along those lines with him in SCH AF. I didn't get full details, but it seemed like a big enough OSHIT moment for me to tiny it.

Finally, with Bastok's quest- maybe someone can help me; which Karst becomes president? It's the younger one, right? Hritcher? And if Elmer's translations are to be trusted, we can expect a lot more assassinations that end with an attempt on the life of Prien. I'm gonna guess Derek Karst (was that his name?) gets the cut, since we know Pale Eagle survives. We also know the Antican DO take part in the war, so I wonder if the ones ferried over by Werner are the ones that ally with the beastmen? Bahhhhhhh

It'll be three to four months until we know, and I want to chat about it
