I went 1/16ish on the doll, and I thought there were only 10 spawns(5 spawns each), either way with everyone after it, not easy to kill many

spams, has fast cast-ish speed. also seems to have increased movment speed. going to try again on blm w/ a dot kite around the pond strat

NM casts Shell IV about 5-10 sec after pop followed by Stoneskin and either Protect IV or a Stone spell

Casts Cure 3/4 also. And hits really strong on WSes. Also casts Stone 4.

Teamed up with a JP NIN and RDM, and an NA NIN. I was SMN. We killed it fairly easily. Was able to get CS to continue, so by all means, team up with people who are there. Make it much much easier.

Restating that you CANNOT damage it, if you are not the popper of the NM, or in that person's party. JP NIN and RDM popped it and wiped. I attacked it, but did 0 damage, so I zoned. Came back, teamed up with them, and was able to damage it. It was the same NM from before; it hadn't despawned. Was able to get CS to continue.

Edit: Well, given that it casts stoneskin, that might be why carby and fenrir hit for 0. So, I suppose I'm unsure at this point. It could be just a hefty stoneskin.

Chose better answers (^.^) next time (can one force an item change via redoing on Goblin's Footprint?). There's at least Lynx Meat and Gold Beastcoins in the running.

Though yeayea, my own fault. I wouldn't have figured it'd actually matter, since it... never matters in missions and ends up with the same result in the end anyway... *sigh*.

Edit: It can be assumed you can't re-do the CS now via the footprint until the mission is actually over, yes?

Just went at the Tree with a bunch of Japanese, we downed it rather easily, were about 10-11 people, nothing special as far as I could see.

I don't think so. Everybody in reach of the thing was at least /nin as far as I could see.

It cast Break once. I'm unsure whether they had Silenced it in between, otherwise I saw few spells.

I don't think you need people as far as you, you just need to con a bunch of people into helping you. The NM is out on the open field after all.

1 whm, 1 nin/dnc and 1 rdm/nin..

the thing has a ton of HP lol.. its not exactly hard but also not something u can solo cos its got so much HP and all..
Leafstorm is quite a bitch as it dispels all your buffs and inflicts slow..

i was quite (pleasantly) surprised by its difficulty.. lol
heading back to sandy now..

I did the tree as two rdm/nin, wasn't very easy because the rdm I teamed up with kept meleeing even when we both had 0 mp. Was very close a couple of times but we just about won.

I think solo might be possible with dot only but its dispel move gives a very bad slow, so if you get hit with that you might be in a bit of trouble.

Edit: Also at low hp it can cast Break. I didn't see a Breakga though.

Just killed the Treant NM. Went back to Amaura for a cutscene and was told to wait for her to make the medicine. Simply had to zone and got another cutscene with her.

I'll post more as I get it.

Anyone attempt the assault BC yet? Hesitant to try solo.

Edit: Went in solo anyway. Buffs are wiped. You have a few minutes before the 3 groups of NPCs take off in 3 different directions. Each group of NPCs contains a leader and 2 lackeys. You basically have to keep them alive as they kill groups of mobs. The NPCs are fairly tough, and can usually work through a group on their own. But they might lose a lacky or two.

As a WHM solo, I'm currently running between the 3 groups, tossing heals where I can. Elvaan group is down. Inital group of mobs down in all 3 groups. Bastok group went to finish off the orcs that finished off the elvaan group. Mithra group is down. Galka group just went down. It hasn't said I've failed yet, tho I doubt I can kill much given my current gear setup. I'll probably lose due to time-out.

Looked around, couldn't find any mobs, except for one-eyed Gwajboj up. Buffed up, but he was hitting me for 300 a pop. Decided to just die and give up. I think a good player could probably solo this. You'd need to be able to kill quick, or heal the NPCs. Perhaps a good RDM or SMN. I might be able to do it on WHM if I prepped better, with sprinter shoes and some meds.

The mobs don't seem too strong, as the NPCs were going through them fairly well, although I didn't fight them personally.

Downed tree with 2 PLD and WHM. Just Atonement spam it dead. It´s leafstorm is AOE erase.

Try beating up surrounding mobs for temp item chests if you need to low man NM maybe.
