Went 1/2 on the Doll and 1/3 on the bulb. Gonna try and do the Treant fight after dynamis.

Just won the BC fight with 4 people. Very easy
The NPCs split up in to 3 groups, so we split our group up each going with a different group to help them kill like 5 people weak beastmen in 2 waves so 10 per group.
After each group kills their beastmen a NM Orc will spawn. Tanked him with my PLD/NIN he went down really easy and the NPCs help kill, along with my other party members.
just cleared the BC as 3 rdm 2 blm 1 whm.. curing the Npcs is quite a good strat for the first 2 waves of mobs...
One-eyed spams battle dance like the campaign version tho..
i must say.. the story is moving along very nicely..
the cutscenes are superb.. cant wait for the next chapter...
Okay, just beat the BC, with a PLD, 2 BLMs, andmyself as a WHM.
NPCs are:
Zazarg and 2 legionaires
Romaa and 2 cobra mercenaries
Rondalout and 2 knights
As I mentioned before, they split up and head in different directions, after a few minutes. Plenty of time to buff, but I couldn't rest to full after buffing. NPCs can be buffed and healed.
A single WHM/SCH is more than enough to keep a single group healed while they tear through the mobs. 3 WHMs would own this. Each group fights 2 waves of mobs. About 5-6 enemies per wave.
After both waves are dead, One-Eyed Gwajboj(Paladin-type) spawns. Killing him ends it and wins the BC. Our PLD tanked him with no problems, with no need for outside heals. All the NPCs can die, and you can still win, if you beat One-Eye. He tends to spam Battle Dance, which has a LARGE range. Mages stand far back.
Overall, not too bad. We split up, I covered the Mithra group, PLD and BLM covered the elvaan group, and one BLM took the Galka group. Galka group died to the second wave, so I assume he had some trouble keeping them healed. NPCs can hold some hate, but you can pull hate off if you're not careful. Otherwise, pretty easy.
In order to do any of this, Im sandy so I need to beat the Garliage - In a Haze of Glory BC first?
Cleared the BC with PLD RDM WHM. We split up to cure. WHM took Windy NPC, RDM took bastok and PLD took sando NPCs. All Sando NPC died but...the Boss of the Sandorian NPCs apparently cannot die. He finished off all mobs having 1% health left lol
Other notes:
The battle will start about 1-2 minutes after you entered. Gives you a little time to cast PROTECT4 on the NPCs but no time to rest to full.
that final BC was awesome
Does anyone know if Accession works in the final BC? AoE cure4 and protect would be nice to heal the NPCs. Going to try it in a few with a friend, and was debating between SCH, RDM, and WHM.
Beat last bc with 4 people, pld war rdm and blm dced but came back at the end and still got credit. Pretty easy if you keep npcs healed.
Over all I really enjoyed this set of missions.
ok...so I got a problem... I traded lynx meat and got the cs and figured i'd get bulb before going to sandy for cutscene with amaura. I got the bulb off first kill > got cs with amaura> went to maiden spring humus-rich earth and when I trade the bulb nothing happens. When I click on the earth just says nothing out of the ordinary.... I'm guess I'll need to toss bulb and get again because I didn't have cutscene flagged but just wanted to confirm before I go run off to find more saplings -_-;;.
Edit: tossed bulb and got new one and nothing happened either....wtf did I miss a step from sandy present cutscene to planting the bulb in the past? -_-
Edit: #2 GDI KUNO I didn't trade bulb to bitch in present >(
Tree was a joke with 4 ppl, WHM, PLD, DRK, BLM. Tree only hit me for like 30-250(shield block-crit)
Could tank it fine /WAR I'm sure if you wanted, though might want to stun Stone 4 as well as Break and Stonega 3 if you do that. Barely got hit by it though /NIN, TP moves never hit me, so not sure how hard they hit. Leafstorm is AoE full dispel and slow.
Can definately damage it after another group wipes. We watched 3 groups wipe to it and then finally took it. I had read it couldn't be damaged so we didn't claim it before. For the people claiming you can't damage it after a group wipes, it probably just had Stoneskin up.
The Lead Elv was the only one that died in our run ~ Overall I'm liking the story a bunch and the last fight was fun even though it was way too easy :\
Any word on what Moghancement: Campaign does?
Only done 1 campaign with it so far and it looks to be +100 AN/campaign? dunno. still testing.
I'm just pissed that this was where it ends.
Seriously what the hell? The comments by the Dev Team from the Live Blog said we were getting a big batch of missions and the Climax of the story.
If that was the climax then I'm extremely disappointed with SE. Looks like we've got another Zilart on our hands - _ - (17 missions)
Shit, even lolToAU went on for 44.
a climax isnt the end.. its just a high point..
and you can clearly tell we're getting there.. especially with the introduction of more key characters and a better understanding of their stories...
the end is still a ways to go
Duo'd final mission with blu and pld. Ran off and grabbed a wave of mobs, each, kited them around while the npcs went to town, campaign style. Grabbed the third set after whoever ran out of mobs first. Repeat as second waves popped.
Didn't bother curing up npcs and had no problems holding hate off them on Gwajbitch. Only like, 3 minions and mihgo ended up dying, due to battle dance spam. Thing doesn't hit hard at all (30-50 shield blocks, 120 tops unblocked). Complete pushover; I think I could've soloed it on pld/sch.
Edit: None of the mobs have movement speed, at all. Not even the boss.
I was the BLU in the above duo. Just some stuff to add.
1. If you pull mobs back to the NPCs before they break off into their respective directions, they'll stay together in a big mob until everything is dead. They maul mobs like this and take almost no damage.
2. Kiting with Crimson is insanely easy. As Akanei said, no mob has runspeed.
3. All the mobs, including One-Eye, can be easily stunned. None slept. Regular mobs bound (Regurgitation), One-Eye did not.
4. Mobs will lose aggro and wander around, so you might need to round up the stragglers at the end.
5. Careful kiting packs of mobs too close to the NPCs, they will use AoE Weaponskills and pull hate off you too early.
6. Let Captain Rongelouts get TP, his WS has Additional Effect: Terror and it's potent as hell.
7. We never got any temp. items.
8. The mobs don't seem to come in "two waves", just two packs that move at different times. At the start of the BC, all the mobs were up and roaming.
As stated above, it wasn't really that bad. Duo made it a piece of cake.
