The not-a-piece-of-shit windower runs fine as long as you have FFXI configured to run in fullscreen.

The developer panel said at the event they weren't going to ban people for running the third party windower, they just wanted players to understand they were running it at their own risk. With that being said, you guys don't mind if I have your credit card information, right?

Yes and yes. I tried SE window mode-- slow and shitty (like 7fps max, totally unplayable). Then I removed recast from "good" windower-- it didn't crash but still slow and unplayable. Then I tried running good windower in fullscreen mode-- still slow and unplayable. I hate SE right now.

read the other thread, its USB keyboard/mouse input causing the FPS lag.
