Windowed/game lag? edit: USB Devices FIX INSIDE

Still no better, 5.5fps on average is just fucked up. Not playable at all and it's not like my PC is rubbish. It's not brand new but it plays anything I throw at it, well until now.

Windower Lite seems to work 100% lag free when I set FFXI to fullscreen. Everything else is too laggy to play.

Neither windower seems to be working for me... when I load either of them up and log in to FFXI, it immediately crashes me... anyone know what I should do? <.<;

I believe they said "Do so at your own risk" in response to the question of whether or not Windower users would be banned now that FFXI can run in windowed mode. Given the context, I'm guessing they weren't referring to technical problems when they said that.

Ike, did you make sure to edit your init.txt file so that Recast doesn't load at start up?

Running game just like it ran before update, tried windower and SE windowed mode, no problems at all.

Just disabled recast in windower init.txt, all other plugins are working

I've tried 3.3, 3.26, 3.24, and the SE Windower, and ALL of them suffer HORRIBLE performance loss. I'm talking I barely break 9 FPS when before it was very rare for me to even drop below 20 FPS.

I tried regeditting everything back down to "normal", then supersampled, and nothing changed, so it's not regedits. Also, I've noticed a huge gamma problem in that everything is very bright. My /rmap, /bmap, and /cmap are very laggy as well. =\

For people wondering, there are people with ATI cards, Nvidia cards, slow computers, and fast computes ALL having different performance rates... it HAS to be on SE's side.

Also, random weird note: usually my 3.3 windower icon is the little mandragora, but after trying SE's windower, I now have the FFXI default logo as my icon.

I run dual core, SE, 3.3, 3.26, Full window either don't work or lag. 29-32FPS down to 3.5 now.

I'm not having any problem at all with SE Windower. Rather the opposit, feels like the game is running smoother now than it did before. >.> No lag issues or anything.

I never switched to 'new windower' - but im not having any problems with 3.26, running at 28 fps, macros work fine.

No problems at all using SE Windowed mode. Middle-range computer, single core. 25 FPS in Whitegate (although it's not as busy as usual)

There are two sets of ppl atm

Those who all 3 versions of FFXI work great (better than before)

and the people who NONE of the 3 versions will work correctly, lag terribly, overall gay.
