while I'm sure mind helps with accuracy some, it doesn't effect the duration (it's a set value just like every all sleeps)Originally Posted by Ohemgee
so recast can be more valueable then a minor boost to accuracy
MND more than likely won't have any affect on Repose, much like INT/Sleep or MND/Flash. There's no damage modifier.
Swift Belt for recast. -.-
Toss in Altruistic cape for another +5 divine
AH yeah, that was on my list and then I forgot to type it... I knew it looked like something was missing. Thanks.Originally Posted by Enygma55

I'm just so glad that Repose is Divine Magic. My BLM has to swap in a ton of crap just to get 289 skill with full enfeebling merits, 296 in conquest areas with master caster bracelets. With WHM... all I need is Healer Pantaloons, Divine Torque and Elite Beret and I'm already sitting at 295 without really trying.
Oh.. and don't forget Balrahn's Ring for magic acc![]()

7 hours moar.
I'm an RDM and I'm crying for you guys to have Reposega so I can have help with crowd control when the BLMs are busy. XD Plus when COR gets to 65 I'd be able to go using the excuse that WHMs can sleep mobs in my place.Originally Posted by Ashira

This seems like a really nice spell so far.
With only 288 skill I never got resisted against VT wamouracampa/puddings or IT Dahak's. Using Apollo's with 103 MND for most of them.
Also, it seems to have the same enmity as Sleep II. I tested it as 480 CE and i'd imagine the VE is the same also. It basically seems like they reused the code for Sleep II, but with a different element/skill. Neither Repose or Sleep II overwrite each other.

And yeah, the MND/INT too, but I doubt will need more added on; I have no problem with full non resisted sleeps on BLM in full enfeebling, and the only INT is what's inherent on the pieces and my rings.
But it'll come with preference, esp if Repose has just a higher inherent accuracy.
Does anybody else notice that Repose seems to lower your enmity after it wears off? I've been skilling up Divine Magic on goldfishes and this is the pattern...
Flash - goldfish comes running and stays locked onto me for the normal length of time
Repose - goldfish falls asleep, wakes up a few seconds later and starts to move away after only a few seconds
I don't know if Sleep spells cause the goldfish to do the same thing, I'd like to try it but I can't log in for some reason ><
if you don't do any damage to hpemde they lose aggro every 30ish seconds

Do goldfish lose aggro immediately after they wake up? I'm in sea testing right now... one Repose stuck for literally half a second, then the goldfish woke up and swam away.
That's incredibly normal for them >_>
Yeah, Goldfish will wear most buffs off including sleep when they de-aggro you. :/

while you obviously can't make direct comparisons, i have never seen any direct comparison tests between m.acc and skill, and the only remote parallel we can make is melee acc and skill, in which case acc > skill. Not saying that skill isn't > macc, but proof would be good. My personal feeling is that I would always take the higher number of the two if comparing two pieces of gear.
That's the next question that should be asked at Fan Fest or whatever event.Originally Posted by Delekii
