If your parse has stopped working after the june 21st update, its likely because the memlock has changed.

Anyone know if this parser counts excal add effects? Trying to find one that does
It counts any and all additional effects. If it's your own weapon, it can be guaranteed to only and always be attributed to your own damage. If it's someone else's weapon, there's a chance it may be attributed to the wrong person in the party (but not to you).
Been using the Abyssea parsing stuff for a bit, and it seems stable, so time for a new release. Current info is a bit on the sparse side, but covers the basics.
1.5.9 (July 24, 2010)
* Remove legacy support for older parses that used 1 second sample intervals, when trying to calculate Extra Attacks. This caused problems with newer parses that had smaller sample sizes.
* Adjust methodology for detecting rounds in Extra Attacks plugin.
* Detailed listing of weaponskill damage by TP is only shown when Show Details is checked.
* Improve display of various tabs.
+ Add new blu spells: Animating Wail (haste tracking on Buffs By Time/Damage Graph) and Plenilune Embrace (Recovery).
+ Add Cure VI to Recovery tab.
+ Add min/max weaponskill damage to data shown by TP under WS Rates tab.
+ Added parsing of Cruor, and display in the Loot tab. Have to reparse older parses to get this data from them.
+ Add parsing of chest drops from Abyssea mobs.
+ Add parsing of Cruor and Experience gained from chests. Display in Loot and Experience tabs.
+ Add parsing of Time Extensions from chests.
+ Add parsing of aura lights.
+ Add Abyssea plugin tab to consolidate Abyssea run results.
Some small changes and an important fix.
1.5.10 (July 28, 2010)
- Fix bad parsing of golden lights.
- Fix missing time extension info in Abyssea plugin.
* Reorganize and refine Abyssea plugin.
Just wanted to say thanks again for all the hard work you have put into KParser. Motenten has transformed the parser's role from DD performance evaluation into an analytical tool which can provide useful information at almost any event.
Noticed a bug with Kparser that deals with the timestamp plugin a few days ago.
TimeStamp Format [%I:%M:%S%p] is my format, which changes it from a 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock with AM/PM display. Apparently this breaks the parser, as when loaded nothing is ever displayed (assumedly because nothing is being parsed). I read through the bug reports on the project page and saw a solved issue with timestamp, but it wasn't the same cause.
Just thought I'd share. Unloading timestamp when I want to parse something isn't a big deal, just took me a while to figure out what was causing the issue.
Only thing I would ask is if the abyssea plugin could count the lights (like feeble and faint) as 1, 2, etc. Granted this only applies to chests and isn't a huge deal.
I skimmed through most of these pages here and couldn't really find what I was looking for, so here it goes.
I have the latest version, and everything is working fine for my character, but nothing shows for the other players in my party. For the life I can't figure this out. I start the parse fine and under the edit tab I see player information and it shows my party but doesn't parse any info on them, just mine. Maybe it's just something so simple i'm missing here.
Thanks!
I get error code 2908 when I try to install this, any idea why/what to do?
Update with new memloc and a few fixes.
1.5.11 (September 9, 2010)
* Updated memloc. New address is 0x00582958.
+ Add new JAs, spells and weaponskills where appropriate.
- Fix parsing of 10,000 Needles.
- Fix parsing of Tractor.
- Fix Damage Graph totals that involve additional effects.
@thetruepandagod -- sorry, haven't been watching this thread. Not sure what's going on with that image, but I'd need to get the info from the error log (accessible from the About dialog) to fix it.
@suljin -- check this article to see if it helps: http://www.add-in-express.com/creati...er-error-2908/
Translate stopped working for me for the Japanese kanji (English gets "translated")but I also had changed my location on the laptop to japan if that means anything.
Can you add something along the lines of an Abyssea NM weakness tab, that has a comprehensive list divided into 3 categories that lists of all the spells/physical weaponskills/elemental weaponskills your alliance has already used on a given NM, and also records which particular weakeness(es) you have already triggered for that mob. Extra awesome if everything is organized into a checklist that gets filled out as you go, so you can still see what is left to do, and if weaponskills/spells that were done relatively close to the NM using a TP move or casting a spell and thus may not have counted appear in a different colour, indicating they may have to be redone.
While I could list what actions have been taken, there's no way for me to know what weaknesses have been triggered.
Oh, and Khajit: You mean Japanese text stays the same, and English gets translated to Japanese? Yes, the program translates to the system's local language. I'll have to fiddle with it to see about setting an explicit translate-to language.
Different weaknesses give different messages afaik. Should be able to make it work by using those no?
