tbh you can't test for every possibility, there is always some shit that will get through. Also, I'm pretty sure SE doesn't own every single router/modem/PC/ect. in the world to test on. There are too many veriables to get every single thing so quit your QQing.Originally Posted by arshesney

Thank god they're fixing the lag.
Although I can't help but wonder; do they actually test these updates before deploying them? I mean on more than one PC with more than one person.
Most game updates/launches go through selected user testing to test on various PC specs/users before launching them.
Wasn't related to the FPS/USB thing, but to screwing damage formulas every time they "correct" it, people realized was wrong within MINUTES after each patch.Originally Posted by Kaslo
Just send an xp party on the test server to test changes, not that hard.

this is pretty inexcusable. the number and variety of keyboards and mouses that are having these issues is ridiculous (it's 80%+)Originally Posted by Kaslo
and that doesn't even start to get into some of their random number and counter generation errors. or the errors with reraise. all of which are happening on -every single platform and configuration- and should have been caught immediately.
Except that they also broke the USB keyboards and mice that come from the brand they "recommend" on their website. Can't test everything, but I think they should at least have some samples from those "vendors" they want to "recommend". Besides, its ->USB<- that is pretty broken cross the board, so it seems they're probably just testing on those machines with standard hardware. It seems to be a problem with non-standard keyboards (the 101 keys type) and mice rather than just USB.tbh you can't test for every possibility, there is always some shit that will get through. As someone above stated, it's much better to get these things broken and fixed before the x-pac.

Following issue has been addressed:
- Effect of Reraise wears off when a player is KO'd in level-restricted areas.
Probably because they didn't even try. It involves driver interaction on the client side. You'll know when they're going to try and fix it when they do a client-side update.
I hate SE....no salvage fixes? no lag fixes? no mob fixes?
I would've been ok with a 2 hr maint. extension if it would have fixed things... what does it take SE? WHAT?

They might've (hopefully) ninja fixed those issues since they weren't included in the "Current Known Issues" announcement. Someone go check out the non-Salvage related issues. :P
Shows how much SE really cares about their consumer base.
