which is probably what they did for two hours.... does anyone here know the EXACT problem? like whats causing this to happen? SE probably is stumped too... and they probably used the 2hrs to run tests... and of course... couldnt find the wht is causing the problem... so... they couldnt fix it... SE isnt

Last one with 2h weapon was broken a lot too. No mobs could land their spell, 2h dmg were broken, and there was something else I forgot.

This one is a few miles ahead tho.

I don't know about you, but when a product's near submit, I really hate getting bug reports. Usually it's stuff that would have been nice to know about weeks ago.

Give this a try? Yes, it's from Alla.

Found this over at a FEAR forum. I went in and disabled the so called HID-compliant devices but mine had different id's then the one shown in the quote. My FPS shot right back up to normal and I can still use my wireless keyboard and mouse. Hope this helps someone. Razz

Go in "Device Manager"
Expand "Human Interface Devices"

Disable all "HID-compliant device"
where Hardware Ids begin by :

"HID\Vid_046d&Pid_c041&..."

How will you know the Hardware Ids ?

- Right click on the device and select "Properties"
- Switch to Details Tab
- Select Hardware Ids Property in the drop-down list

Note: This will disable many extra functions, like extra mouse buttons but SHOULD leave basic KB/mouse functions working fine. Should be allowing people to actually play till this gets fixed. Please be careful and save a Restore Point or the like before doing this, or else if it does break something you'll have to Safe Mode and get things back to normal.

If you are using a game pad like a Saitek P2600 rumble force pad (HID) or newer this will disable the game pad and is not recommended!
