Ok I don't know about the rest of you but this "Expansion" isn't really peeking my intrestes much. Sure there are ways to get exp etc etc. new stufff etc etc...

Bottom Line is even with all that What does Bst get? Snarl...

What does this do for us?
Nothing Rly.
Unless you are a lower level Bst solo or (Bstparty) exping to 70 Snarl does piddly compared to what other Jobs have at their dispossal.

Pld will still tank better then use... even if we gear 100% towards tanking, and if you say omgs nooo wai we wont take any damage cus of pet tanking, just look at Nin a Good nin tank in an Exp situation wont take much if any damage and wont fall into an OH shit my pet died b4 Call timer is up.

Not even taking into consideration the sheer cost of pet tanking in jugs alone not to mention reward spam, The timer on Call would have to be lowered cus what good would be a pet tanker when a pet drops at the hands of a One Shot Move or just from sheer damage that higher level mobs can dish out in the course of a 30 second fight.

Plus you know tossing boat loads of gil away is always fun.

So at best we get to be sub par tanks at the price of burning gil.

Then there is the total disregard to what SE should have focused on!

What the hell does snarl do for DD?
A simple ability along the liens of an accuracy and atk boost for either us or our pets would have helped us tremendously, even if it was along the lines of Beserk where it was not always on but on for a decent amount of time.

As things are now pets are laughable against mobs like Colibri unless you have the right AF to ensure you call a high level pet and even then there mildly Decent.

But have you ever Merited on on Mamools, not even Thfs just the regular ones.
Even the best geared DD can have trouble landing hits on em and as for pets there almost useless.

So as far as Bst goes we offer little to a party that another Job wouldnt offer better and easier.

I have never not once heared some one say he look for a Bst so we can go merit.
B4 Bst people look for Wars, Sams, Mnks, etc etc practically ever other job besides us... well except for maybe PUPs.

so at Best a Perfectly Geared BST can hope to be either a mediocre Tank or a Below Average DD...

Who the hell cares if we "Can Tank" hell Thfs "Can Tank" the question is would it really make us more usefull to the rest of the game population? Will Bst net higher invite rates, or in the case of those who make their own parties higher acceptance rates from invites you send out?

At best in the tanking Deparment, if and only if Snarl really joes change the Job dynamic to that of a Tank, we may hope to see the odd invite from the lack of any other available tank.

and we still net nothing in the DD department.

So from this update Bst get a possible future as a tank, for NON HNM/Most End Game stuff, and no future as a DD.

2 hand update/nerf still has Bst way way way down the totem poll in the DD market.

Oh and congratualtions SE, while not raising the level Cap so as to cause everyone who worked to get gear to be forced then to get new gear, if Snarl does Turn Bst into tanks BST must now buy entirely new gear!!!!
