just antsy to get the copy before I go out of town tonight for a few days, since a laptop is easier to carry around than a ps2 with a television.

So I went to two Best Buys, Circuit City, two GameStops, one EB, Target, and another store that might have had games.

They were all either just getting boxes or in the process of unpacking, so I couldn't get an answer. I'll update in a few hours; anyone else in the St. Louis/Chicagoish area had any luck?

Ok, I wasted an hour of my life, and no dice.

Target (I work): I went in, used a portable PDA I borrowed from dayside and scanned our backroom. Only Unreal Tournament 3 came in.

Wal-Mart: Had nothing, the only saving grace was the kid crying at his suckage at the Guitar Hero display.

Game Stop: Closed in my face, 5 minutes early, refused to anwser me if they had one in there. Going to call district manager on them just to bust their chops.

Best Buy: At this point I was pissed. Went in, and began snooping around the PC games. A employee came buy, asked if he could help. I inquired about FFXI WoTG for PC, he replies "Hmm, no, but we do have it for PS2". To which point I put my hand on his shoulder and said "Oh thank god, because I now know it exists."

ah then you must know the Epic assistant manager at gamestop up there. ya either hate him or love him lol. he said either friday or saturday depending on black friday masses, but then again it is the aviation mall :D

It's nice to hear I'm not the only person around here that plays ffxi. there isnt much else to do but Bowl and stay inside in the winter around here (i live in town so I can't play with my snowmobiles ;; )
