I preordered my copy by my college, and I'm going home for thanksgiving. Called up my store, and their delivery is delayed till thursday, therefore friday because of thanksgiving, and I'm pretty sure I have no way of getting back up here until Sunday at the earliest. I'm gonna pray though I can.

Can't you just buy another copy at home and then whenever you come back, just cancel the pre-order or take it and return it right away? It should be ok since it's not opened.

GameStop in Chicago called my cell phone just now, saying "we'll have the game you pre-ordered tomorrow before noon"

I ordered 2 copies, PS2 and PC, so I pray it's for both. Otherwise I'll be playing on super-duper eye-strain-o-vision, but damn it I'll be playing. [probably less buggy than PC is right now anyways]

Anyway, why don't you pick up the PS2 or Xbox version, use that code to register, and then download the game? Or does PS2/Xbox/PC have the same "platform only" restriction on registration code as EU/JP/NA version have between each other?

EBGames, Gamestop, Bestbuy here all said that Friday is a slim chance but most likely Monday or Tuesday next week would be the best bet. Still going to call them all tomorrow and see if they got it in.

Why couldn't S-E just let us buy the code online from them and go download an image.

I'm willing to bet that the gamestop/ebgames' that are saying they're getting them in tomorrow are uninformed.

My local gamestop still has Super Smash Bros. Brawl slated for December 11th or something like that on their bulletin board of releases...
