Re: Laggy framerate TEMP fix (USB device bug)- own topic.

A member of my LS has a G15 keyboard but disabling HID devices didn't completely alleviate his lag problem he had to unplug his UPS (which uses a USB interface) from the computer also. Just something to look at for those who still can't get it working right.

SE's window update just now fixed the lag 100% for me.

I really think SE relies on -us- to do their testing and bug fixes.

And there are mobo's without PS/2 now? O_o I never understood the point of wasting 1/2 USB ports on keyboard/mouse when there's 2 specific ports for it. Unless you have one of those fancy G15s or something

My Mobo has a lone PS/2 port, and like 10 USB slots randomly around the computer.

Actually you posted a pic of a $20 PS2>USB converter which only served to bolster the stupidity of your comment. I'm not buying a fucking adapter to "fix" a game I've already payed several hundred dollars for over the years just because the developers messed up the code in it. Stop making this pointless adapter observation in different threads-- it doesn't get any less dumb the more you post it.

Re: Laggy frames fixed via latest SE Update (THANKS DEVS!)

Latest patch fixed a part of the issue, but it's not totally fixed. They probably fixed the USB bug but I still have lower frames than I generally have. My current computer runs caped fps most of the time exept in dynamis and in whitegates where it runs around 25fps. However right now as soon as there are more than 4 players in my screen, fps goes down drasticaly for every body on my screen.

    In MH: 28.5 (previously 29.9)
In front of the coin guy in Whitegates (5-6 people): 22 fps (previously 29.0+)
Out of mog house without loading all models: 18 fps (Previously 29.0+)
Out of mog house and loading all models (aka going afk there): 14-15 fps (Previously 25+)
In front of AH: 13fps (Previously 25+)

*note I turned off shadows for these FPS count, I usually have them on normal mode 100% of the time and still get 25fps on areas with heavy player concentration*

So not totally fixed, but much better than having 15fps inside mog house and getting sea sickness (yes I almost threw up yesterday). Am I the only one still getting frame degradation still? I really do hope SE doesn't just leave it at that.

    Edit included previous frame rate.

Didn't read every post/page about this in these forums, but how come everyone is having problems with USB and lag? I use a G-15 and Logitech RumblePad 2 on my loldell laptop, and no issues at all.

1 of my 2 PS/2 ports broke a few months back....and now it comes back to haunt me <.<

Good job finding a temp solution.

SE your fuck up in this case is deplorable, fix it you worthless bastards.
    Thanks

EDIT: They fixed it yay, hate not being able to keep up with all the happenings , the shipment comment stands

On a further note fuck you and your "delayed shipment" yet again for an expansion.

and yeah, iirc the bearlake chipset spec(intel's current new shipping line) does not include ps/2 as a mandatory part. At work all our business line use intel boards with no PS/2 and my wife's asus P5K doesn't have any either.

Yep. My brand-spanking-new 'puter only has USB ports.

    (Thankfully, fix no longer required.)

Which was Not Fun- I'd end up stuttering every two seconds with everything enabled.

since 19/11 update i got some problems when 2boxing, my first window top at ~20 fps (that's fairly enought to me for playing) but, on the 2nd one, fps poorly reach 4 (orz).
I used to 2box a lot before this update and never had this problem D:
is anyone here encounter the same problem? or have any clue? any help is welcome.
    thx in advance.
