I just called circuit city and they said they aren't taking any orders online or over the phone, the TVs would be available for in store purchase tomorrow morning.

Their website was updated at 3AM PDT - each store allocated 10% of their inventory for online sales for in-store pickup. You pretty much had to buy it right away. Some people ended up ordering from Circuit Citys 50+ miles away from where they live in order to take advantage of this.

This was the first year that I remember that Frys/Best Buy/Circuit City put some of their BF deals for online purchase. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I'm sure it will be even more competitive next year with people staying up ungodly hours Thanksgiving morning and hammering their websites, lol.

Oh yeah, 30+ people in line at my local Best Buy as of 3PM today - hope you're in line already Tyche!

The four gamestops in my area managed to sell all 100 of their Wii's (combined) in less than 40 minutes, and as of me posting this right now, no one has even bought a Ps3 or a 360, I also stopped by Best Buy earlier....

Ever since I got my Mom to play Wii bowling back when I got my Wii, she's been hooked on the thing. She's always coming over and playing Wii with me, so I thought I'd try and do something good for her this year.

I got up at 5:30 this morning to camp out at Gamestop, because I heard they've been holding a few shipments of Wii's to sell on Black Friday.

I camped out from 5:30pm last night at Best Buy to get their 32" Dynex HDTV deal for my boyfriend and I am fucking EXHAUSTED. But I picked up PC Orange Box for myself for $25 as a present. :D I was gonna go to CC, but then I saw that Best Buy had a ticket system so I figured I'd go to the place where I had a gaurantee.. it was crazy! By 5:30pm when I got there I was number 28, some people had been there since noon. D:

But it'll all be worth it when we play our video games on that TV. :3

I think I may hit the mall later today, but I dunno if I'll ever do something like that again.

MS is doing their annual rebate on MS Office for the Mac. $100 off if you buy today. All resellers like Apple.com and Amazon.com should be offering this deal.

Plus with the tech guarantee, if you buy the 2004 version today, you will be entitled to the free upgrade in Jan 2008.

So if you buy from Amazon, which is offering $25 off on the normal $150 price, you can get end up with a 2008 MS Office for the Mac for only about $25 (plus shipping and handling when you upgrade in Jan).

I got to circuit city @ 3am and there was a sizeable line, I was thinking most of them were there for TVs. Shocker everyone was there to buy the same laptop I was wanting. They started handing out vouchers @ 4:30am and they ran out of vouchers like 4 people in front of me. I was really bummed out. Came back through the shopping center later and there was still a line coming out of the store @ 7:30am.

I don't know how you guys got the 25$ Orange Box, I checked two Best Buys and made them run price checks adn everything and they were 49.99, i was pretty pissed cause that's pretty much all I went there for, that an 35$ Mario Galaxy

They started handing out vouchers @ 4:30am and they ran out of vouchers like 4 people in front of me. I was really bummed out. Came back through the shopping center later and there was still a line coming out of the store @ 7:30am.

That $299 laptop? There was 8 ppl getting that laptop in a huge 10man tent right behind me. That 299 laptop was actually almost 600 before the mail-in rebates. I found that funny because Staples had the same damn laptop with a free printer as well for $350 strait up. $50 more, yeah, but dont have to deal with those fucking mail-in rebates. Not to mention, there was NOONE in line at staples til, like, midnight. People were getting there at 5pm at circuit city for the laptops. I got there at 4pm. There was about 30 ppl outside best buy at 2pm (and their ads sucked heh).

I need a better tv stand now. Had to keep my hand on this tv from 4-5am before walmart would allow you to put it in your cart. Then some asshole yanked the one I had my hand on out from under me. So I had to overpower some kid's tv before his mom came to back him up.

Fuck camping out Frys. Fuck Chinese people. This has to be like the 3rd time in my entire life that I feared for my life. Three people fainted in the line due to fuck faces pushing and shoving....3 hours prior to the store opening. Three hours stuck in line dick to ass with the people around you. If you're under 5'11 you can't breath. God that shit sucked ass. Got 8gb flash drive for 30 bucks and 70 dollar ionic breeze though.
