Got a text from Game today about my pre-order (which I was pratically forced to do after asking the guy behind the counter about when WotG came out).

Apparently my pre-order of Final Fantasy X will be ready for collection tomorrow.

I had a rather fun discussion with game at 5pm GMT (after WotG went live) asking for him to break the store date as the expansion was live. They refused and told me to come back tomorrow

GAME did at least have it in stock, which was more than most shops near me

checked Game on the 22nd, they had cases displayed, i ask at the desk if they are actually selling it/have copies in, again they reply with "we cant sell it til the friday" so ill be popping down in about an hour to give them a bitch slap and pick up my copy of wotg.

Went to my local game this morning as soon as they opened, got the only 2 copies they had in store.

Got my copy through from Play today - about to install now, set it to check files and go back to bed for another 2 hours while it runs through.

Makes me glad I took my laptop into work yesterday and got it registered in the morning.

SE really should do something about the useless bunch of cretins they have running their backend systems. They seem to die every time anything like an update or expansion happens. It is not as if this expansion was a surprise release, yet once again the registration server has laid down and stuck its feet in the air.
