just finished watching it, it was pretty good, ill probably buy the DVD too just because i want them to make moar moar moar, this is the one series that never should have been canceled... family guy should have stayed canceled, and they should have brought back futurama

Family Guy is a hilarious show, why the hate? Futurama is, however, a much better show, because its humor comes from the story (and pop culture references) and doesn't rely on absolutely random things to get a laugh.

I'll never understand how a show like Futurama was canceled while American Dad continues to pollute the airwaves.

I loved Family Guy all the way up untill series 4. Now its just the same jokes over and over. The movie was also really disappointing. I haven't watched any new Simpons episodes for the last few years for the same reason. They need to learn when to give up. I won't even go into American Dad..

In a way, I'm kinda glad they stopped Futurama when they did. Maybe one more season would have worked though. After watching the movie, I'm fairly certain they could have pulled off another brilliant season.

Obviously we are not watching the same Family Guy. For example, the episode It Takes a Village Idiot, and I Married One is an amazing look at post 9-11 politics and the gullibility of the electorate. People like to hate on Family Guy because it is the in vogue thing to do.
