The Gathering Storm Information

This is an Assault based BCNM held at (H-11) in Bhaflau Thickets. It’s currently limited to 6 people, uncapped, for a period of 5 minutes.

Goal: Kill at least 40 monsters within the time limit.

Reward: Bloody Berserker (Title)

Monsters: Various monsters found on Mamook. Around 1,000 Hp each (varies on species)

Special Rules: Each player will be given 300% TP at the start, with a fairly high rate of regeneration for TP, HP, and MP. Respawn time on monsters is 10 seconds.

Walkthrough:

To enter you need to “eat” your key, just use the item like a potion or food then everyone in your party will be given clearance to enter. Click on the Runic Seal to enter.

It’s all about dealing massive damage in the shortest period of time possible. Melee with an AOE based weaponskill, and mages would work equally as well in this event.

The key is called "Training Grounds Key" it's the reward for the LiveQuest (tm) event at FanFest 2007 for reaching sergeant ranking. After you get your rank, you were given a speical code, that code is entered then talking to the event Moggle presents you with your item.


There is nothing marked as a quest or mission, completed or otherwise.

BTW I was able to bring friends who did not attend the FanFest into the BCNM. You only need 1 Key

Much like Heroes and Heroines combat, only a title. I'm not sure if it's recoverable unfortunately. I think Mercenary Camp is the same. I was afraid that it would appear under the completed mission tab, making it a must-complete for a mission and quest freak.

Don't be afraid to consume/use the key if you have it. It's the only item that is consumable of the four. It will show up under Temporary Key Items.

The Regain rate is 30TP/Tic. I'm not sure if Regen and Refresh are the same, but it is very strong.

It's a lot of fun, but I wish they would have given an extra bonus to this and made them all give XP for the 80-85 that you kill, lol.

Does anyone know if this uses one of the 2 unused Mamool Ja maps? If so, that would make Periqia the only Assault area without 9/10 maps used.

6/10 or something, but you probably knew it doesn't use all 10 and are just doing your Khamsin thing.
