Little disappointing?

From the sounds of it, all the mobs are things that only 60+ can take on, and you still need to InviSneak everywhere. Which is one of the things I hated most about ToAU. I was really hoping for some lower level stuff, like a Dunes/Qufim/Kazham replacement, or areas that are easy and efficient to solo in those levels. Although I must admit it's kinda cool to be able to earn exp in the areas outside of towns...

Im really dissapointed in my new dog, she keeps shitting all over my house when she knows to go outside. And she is too damned cute for me to get pissed at.

not everything is 60+. Beastmen are, and some mobs are. Alot of mobs carry over from present day, ex. tunnel worms, onery sheep, and damesflies. North Gustaberg has monsters ranging from lvl 5 to lvl 60 and they are all over. Dont need sneak and invis everywhere in fact most of the monsters dont even aggro. And the ones that do seem to be in constricted locations. Please don't knock something that you haven't tried, it's only gonna spread false knowledge. And if you die in the past, just wait for a Pixie to come by and raise 3 you.

So far, there's no new HNM's, no new usable EXP spots thusfar, no items worth *anything*, a mission series that's virtually non-existant (to say the least), and transport in the past is the stupidest fucking thing, as you're restricted to literally running between every single point on the map on foot.


There's just nothing actually *interesting* out there in the expansion so far. What did everyone pay $30 for?

ToAU and CoP did not offer that much right out of the box, it took them at least 2 months before they had a good amount of content. Does anyone remember beseiged when it first started? it lasted less than 30 seconds if that but they changed it and (I think) perfected it. Give them some time to fix the bugs before you start crying please.

You're kidding, right? Note that I didn't say the expansion was a waste or blah blah whatever since I won't be able to play with it myself till about next week, I was just saying the info being posted is pretty eh at best.

well when CoP was released it offered just new zones and the 3 promy's. Doesnt sound far to different from where we are in the current expansion. Think about how much more content was added to CoP from initial release until 6 months later.

Its true it had things like Tiamat, Jorm and Vrtra but it took a while before the full potential of its content was released.

Didn't see any viable xp camps or merit camps (beastman strongholds are a possibility) Nothing was worse than running the full length of a map only to arrive at a dead end and walking back because warping would require going through another fucking gate breach..

I'm not too excited for the new expansion, I'll get it when I can of course, but just because. Really disappointing that PC version was shipped late or whatever though. When ToAU came out, there was cerberus, 3 tiers of assaults, with all of those assault items, tons of new crafting materials and recipes, tons of quests, though, Missions ended soon, and there was no AF for the new jobs, there seemed like a ton of things to do. I haven't really heard much of any of that from anyone in the new areas.

the only one thing that i am disappointed is they don't offer merit cat.3 yet.

Probably due to my play style, but I'm not really "disappointed" quite yet. The new areas are interesting, love the music and the ambiance of wartime, and I'm having fun trying out Dancer.

I will agree though, it feels a little... empty? Like the design and foundation I think are just great, but it almost seems like a sneak preview of Wings of the Goddess, rather than the actual game.

not surprised one bit just from what they showed @ the fanfest, it seems 15-20% completed at best. Maybe the patches will come out faster this time around.

From a HNMLS point of view there is nothing appealing that WotG offers to us.

Yea Campaign might be fun for free exp or w/e, nice cool mobs that you better leave them alone because they have stupid aoes so you won't be soloing any of them just because of the sake of it.

No gear, no HNMs, no good craftable items, only like a couple or 3 worthy items and that's it.

Somehow this expansion reminds me to Wii games, for casual players.
