Little disappointing?

Don't get me wrong, I realized nuking/curing is useless so I bust out the Kraken.

Useless? Is melee just that much faster, or am I missing something? Divine Seal + Cure IV netted me 80 exp and about half that in Allied Notes. About 20 Cure IVs and I was capped for exp already, which isn't too hard to get considering the idiot NPC Paladins/White Mages in Eldieme prefer their Banish and Aquaveils to curing.

I found the curing method especially nice when you're waiting around for the next wave of mobs to show up, seeing how the NPCs must have over 10k in HP.

Well that probably works for Rdm/Whm but as Blm that would be alot of Cure 3s. Meleeing is alot easier then that.

Speaking of curing, saw a RDM just spamming Cure IV on themselves and turning in his tags for points. They kept equipping/unequipping +HP gear basically to keep it going. Way to get into the spirit of things.

Back on topic, I agree with what was said about the lack of Missions in WotG. I hope they plan on releasing more mission story and content than what they did with ToAU. There should be ton of that and sidequest story I think. That's what I'm holding out for atleast.

Yes spending approximately 1200 MP to spam Cure IV for a full tag sounds splendid. Let me just rest to full, find 20 things potential for a Cure IV, take the time to cast all 20 of those cures, and watch as the melees next to be complete 3-4 tags in that same time and another 3-4 while I rest for the MP back. No.

Justice/Joyeuse is one of the most damaging weapon combo's in the game. Stacking a strong enspell effect on top of them with A- skill would be like demanding that SE nerf the hell out of RDM. They aren't Ridills, but they're capable of doing more than say Man/Jug in the right situation.

Yeh I'm having no trouble meleeing as WHM, glad I was so gung-ho(sp?) about it back in the day so that now I'm not behind the curve on melee gear. Got my swift belt and Rev mail and melee clubs, just wish I had a relic club, time to find someone with 100 floor access or start a Nyzul group >.>

It sucks at first when you don't have Allied Notes to begin with, but when you have enough to warp around to the battles and back, it's a blast! :D

No, I actually meant your very first post of this forum describing how you needed to refill your prescription to zoloft because you hated every expansion released. If you don't have any complaints then what was that long ass rant that I could barely comprehend?

Yeah these two jobs also seem to be the hardest to get exp in besieged too. Since you're stuck being a gimp healer on both.

Well, I nuke my brains out in Besieged. I don't think I can get away with it in Campaign, at least not like melees do... it's easy to hit a cap over an hour, but Campaign is more about hitting the cap several times.

BLM in Besieged = find big melee, Bio II everything, lob -agas, run like hell out of area, repeat in next. Cure as desired. Manafont any time Revitalizer is available (2hrs = big Besieged exp). Cap exp/IS.

SMN, I dunno. Though it may simply be playing medic in the corner and avatar-slapping the HNM's when possible.

A single Predator Claws is only about 40xp/20an, so it'd take a lot of BPing/resting to get to your 600 per tag.

did some conquest while searching for a party on my 70DRK

got about 2.5k exp in 6-7 hours. Overall, it was pretty frustrating. Lots of waiting arround. Not many mages cross curing people outside of PT. Lots of deaths from AoE.

When I was able to swing on mobs, I found the EXP really random. For normal mobs it was about 100 per (not talking about jumping in on a like 50% mob). Boss battles usually ment death. When I was able to stay on them for a good chunk of time, i was able to get full, but that was pretty rare.

Overall, I found it pretty darn hard to get the full 600, then again I might be doing something wrong. But I dont think I really am fuckign up engaging, WS, and draining when I'm low. Anyone else notice a big jump in the lag today?

You just have to realize that if you try and solo one on a job that can't solo EM-T mobs then don't bother trying and just assist someone else.

If you see a horde of monsters running, don't try and fight them, just follow them till they reach the NPCs or if someone else aggros them, because then you can pick mobs off 1 by 1.

Also to RDMs BLMs etc, you can actually sleep and grav mobs in campaign, so you can effectively solo something you pick off if it's HP isn't retarded and it doesn't have a perma resist..

Most of the Campaign mobs I've fought on RDM rarely hit over 0 with just Phalanx on. But I think it depends on the strength of said Army. For example, when mobs are attacking in Fort Karugo (when we own it), I usually run out ahead and basically solo a mob while about 10 mobs + NM are beating on me - all hits for 0-10 with Phalanx on and casting Stoneskin is no problem during all this. I usually kill one down to about 50-40%, then run into the main room and all the NPCs zerg the shit outta everything really fast. It's rather funny watching so many tarus throw out huge spells at once which is one of the reasons why I solo a mob outside first; the npcs kill them way too fast, so if I don't, I wont get any points.

On the other hand, Rolanberry Field Quadavs are CRAZY overpowered. There's no good clean pulls at their Fort, and they hit for like 200-300; boss threw an ore at me for about 1000+ dmg, too. I don't have much experience with the Orc Army, but Yagudo's are rather poosy and Quadavs = gtfo of the way.

It could have to do with their Army's Morale and Prosperity ratings when you go to region info. Yagudo has basically 0 of both, while the other two armies have maxed bars. Windurst is totally dominating their continent (gooooo Windurst! ). Basically the only way I've found to get points in Rolanberry is to sack pull the big Fort and solo/duo one of them, otherwise...
