Japanese version help

[rushyrushrush]

Hi all first real post here.
I've been studying in japan for a year and intend to return back to australia at the end of the year and start playing again. I want to buy the japanese version and play using my character on it. What im wondering is will i be able to use my character straight from the EU version on the japanese version? or will I have to preform some reg-editing to make it work. Also i havent bought wings of the goddess on my EU account, so would i be able to use the code in the japanese version to register it on my account? Thanks for the help!

You can login in on any version of the game with your account information. Any expansions will need to be purchased and registered from the region of your account though. (In your case EU)

Basically, the registration codes are region locked, but the actual client isn't.
