    Re: Explorer's Guide

Pixie/Sprites seem to have a walking pattern that SE implemented to prevent them becoming camped. They seem to have a very wide area that they traverse and cure/raise people they come across that need it.

Sihde (T-VT pixie mobs in grauberg [s] do not heal you at all. They are located in the witchglen area on the map. This is also where the fey spring is located.

Also in grauberg [s] there is an area called skyrend on the map. The way to it is populated by hippogriffs that do not use jettatura. They also appear to be non-true sight. Once you get by them, you will encounter tons of green wyverns that check VT+. The area looks pretty nice with jagged rocks ripping out of the ground all over. If you go all the way to the top, you can get a climpse at the top of, what appears to be, the crag of dem.

Just to clarify the hippo's in Grauberg[S] are True Sight, but I've only fought 3-4 of them and I'm not sure if they use Jettatura(sp) or not.

They do. I spent about 2-3 hours killing them on Sunday.

Yay! I was planning on taking my BLU up there to learn Jettatura without the annoyance of level caps. I got a little worried when people said that they don't use it. >_<

Do you happen to know what approximate level they are? (Low EP, High EP, DC, etc.)

They hover around EM to a 75, if I remember correctly.

    They fluctuate between DC-EM to a 75.

I was waiting for a friend just standing doing nothing, and a bumblebee started attacking me for no reason, I wasnt resting neither had I touched it, strange......
This happened to me when I was a 75 whm running through South Gustaburg about 2 years ago. I stopped to type something in the linkshell or reply to a tell and this Amythest Quadav attacked me.  WTF!?  Strange.  I wasn't resting, healing anyone, or anything... just running through back to Bastok.  Anyway needless to say, I one-shotted it with my club. lol  I know this was a glitch that happened to me but I'm not sure if it was a glitch for your bumblebees.  I ran past these bees in West Sarutabaruta (S) without any aides and wasn't attacked.  Thanks for the heads up though.

lol, septs gonna get molested up on a mountain alone with Tonko.

    Brokeback Grauberg, anyone?

Also, damned if Grauberg isn't the prettiest of the three new zones, the others all have their moments, but Grau is just epic at times.

Once in a long while, I get attacked by TW mobs, while just running along, doing nothing at all...just often enough to make me think it's an occasional glitch and that's it.

Assuming it's related, this has happened to me also in the older zones.
