Seriously I am not one to complain about SE, EVER. There servers for the most part are always freakishly stable for gameplay and they have never given me a reason to be upset with any services....until now.

After two days almost 3 days for some this is as far as I have been able to go...

Honestly SE, this is fucking APPALLING. It's Nov24 and I still CANT register this expansion?! Are you kidding me?! Like someone said in a previous post I expect better services from a FREE online game than this. First off not anticipating the amount of server traffic the expansion would cause is so pathetic on your part is one thing but then having been more than two days now not doing anything to rectify it is just maddening. You performed Maintenance and I still cant register, then guess what. It's not fucking fixed so get whoever's ass that works on server load or hardware or w/e pull their asses in, yes ON THE WEEKEND and stop pissing off your loyal and long standing customers. Servers being down for Maintenance I never complain no matter how long cause I know your trying to fix or add something. For crying out loud though I am paying for this and not being able to complete this stupid step in order to play a game I payed for and service I pay for 2-3 days after its release is UNACCEPTABLE.

This sums up how I feel. I'm not as pissed that I can't play the expansion as I am that SE's response has basically been "lol, that sux sry good luck." And I wouldn't be as pissed about that if it weren't their typical attitude. I mean, they had the balls to basically blame the consumer when people kept R0ing earlier in the year, rather than research it and figure it out what was going on, regardless of if it was SE's fault or a bigger internet issue.

All this makes me think is that FFXI is the least of SE's concerns, it's going to generate a certain amount of cash no matter how poorly they support it, so they don't waste their time and resources on it. True or not, that's the impression their attitude gives me.

I am disgusted with SE atm. This is has totally ruined my weekend and my day off yesterday. SE's service in the past week has been shocking and then they release an expansion their servers can't cope with. This is such BS. They need to learn the meaning of customer service. 48hrs now I have been trying to register and I get even more pissed off when I hear of all the people who install and log on and get registered np first attempt. Such bullshit. They say my connection must be from the stoneage or something which is utter crap. I have high speed broadband and never have any issues getting updates fast and I rarely d/c. This is totally all SE being too cheap to put on extra servers to cope with the congestion. I am so furious atm that I am close to uninstalling WotG and returning it. The earliest I see me being able to get on now is Monday -.- Fuck you SE. Think of the customers for once.

I would suggest getting an auto-clicker for those of you who haven't. I left it on all night and when I woke up it was at the register code screen. An hour after that I came back and it finished registering for me.
