There is a pixie village in Grauberg. Its in the "Witchfire Den" @ F-7/G-5. Lots of ponds of water and flowers that glow and sparkle. About 20 Pixies there.

Got one to drop off an Orc in Vunk[tab]. After Dynamis I'm going to run around the present time and try trading it various places before I head to the "pixie village" in Grau[tab].

Also, pixie behavior is strange. After dealing with some agro, our impromptu trio of adventurers were all in yellow hp, the pixie cured the drg/whm and left the thf and sam alone. The sam had killed a pixie earlier, but had been cured by a pixie after that. The thf had been cured by a previous pixie and hadn't killed any.

Strange AI, to say the least.

I'd think they're beastmen type mobs, or at least something like it. People who have killed Pixies - did they drop gil?

No way of clearing it yet (that's been found).

aparently my friend killed a pixie, in the same zone , another pixie aggroed him... so maybe there is some form of pixie hate?

It's known there's pixie hate, they do more dmg with their TP attacks the more you've killed. Just not a way to clear it yet, so don't kill the pixies!

The message when you click "Fay Spring" before trading the pixie, says something about cleansing your soul, I'm pretty sure if you release pixies, it's a way of clearing your pixie hate, it makes the most sense anyway.

That's for a quest or something, I think. Maybe the fill-the-brass-canteen one? Or some AF quest.

At the fanfest, didn't they say release them in the PRESENT to get the reward?

There is a special "spring" located in the Vana'diel of the past. There are pixies in the new WotG. Originally they were going to have pixies in bottles be a drop from pixies, but they thought the idea of killing/capturing pixies from the pixie mobs was mean. So there will also be bottled pixies who are carried around by other mobs and can be "saved". Don't sell them or throw them away. Try setting them free near the special spring in the past for a reward.

I'm wrong. It is somewhere in the past.
