Have you ever been satisfied with a GM's response?

Voted yes.

I was chocobodigging in Rolanberry Fields when this galka came up and started sending me inane but explicit homosexual /tells. Called a GM not so much for me, but because I figured this douche would do the same to anyone else, and a lot of kids play the game and don't need to be harassed while doing so.

Within minutes he was gone, never to return.

A couple of times, but mostly for silly stuff - getting stuck places (Nashmau docks, Kazham bridges, etc).

On one rare occasion I called a GM on two fishbots in Korroloka. Two minutes after I finished talking with the GM, they both suddenly mysteriously depopped. Any other calls I've made, though (RMTs botting the shit outta Ulli last summer) was like banging my head against a brick wall.

GMs have done what I have expected in my experience. Whether or not I was satisfied I guess not; albeit I did not expect them to do anything.

I'm still undecided on my response but since we're sharing stories I shall tell mine.

Back when I farmed SSG (before RMT invaded, go go Masan), I past mythril door at Sea Hog pop and jumped off the cliff to check Whorr the Clawfisted (I think that's it, idk), and got stuck behind the 3 sticks sticking out of the ground. I called a GM and while talking to him, I was running my guy in circles but I was still stuck so I was just turning, and all the sudden I popped out. I ran from the pugil that just popped torwards the wall and actually ran through the wall. The GM quickly turned off the noclip tool and I was not stuck inside the wall with nothing but gray around me. The GM laughed at me and said he had a funny picture now. Didn't leave me there long enough to let me take a pic. Other than that though, I have been pretty disappointed by GMs but as said before, they really have a lot of restrictions as what they can and cannot do.

I'd have to say most all GM's I've talked with in FFXi are either...

1. Automated answering machines that just reply on keywords you say with something vague.
2. Someone pressing macro's to give answers on whatever you say.
