Favorite RPG Music of all time

From any RPG? Oh man there are so many good tracks to pick from. I guess the most recent surprise I've had was the soundtrack for Sword of the New World (aka Granado Espada). I really wasn't expecting a soundtrack of that kind of quality coming out of what is otherwise a pretty standard Korean RPG. I like how they completely deviated from the standard kind of RPG soundtrack and went in a completely different direction with upbeat trance and techno for the places with a lot of action going on(which fit surprisingly well) and the occasional piano piece in places like towns.

I already knew DJ Tiesto was good, so I guess his tracks are a given, but the SoundTeMP guys really impressed me. I might be biased towards it since I love listening to good trance, but it's been a good while since I've intentionally went out looking for a game's soundtrack just so I could put it on my Ipod. It's hard to pick any one single track, but I love listening to Rosa Rosado, M.I.S.A. and Amaranth. The only track I could find on youtube was Supercooled Girl though, so there you go.

I've always really really liked that theme music, I'm not quite sure why but that was one of (if not my favorite) track from FF9.

Pretty sure the name for it is "Rose of May" by Nobuo Uematsu

Sorry not RPG but i love this video game music so much.

I'll let it slide since Streets of Rage 2 had tons of awesome music in it.

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn definitely. The main menu theme is so powerful, and the various battle themes have made excellent replacements for the ones in FFXI.
