I fail at life it seems. Found it, just needed to be more thorough with my search. (I ended up Youtubing Final Mix+ Terra and found some guy who had a link to the track online.)

I'm going to have to give an appreciative nod towards Eternal Sonata. The entire OST is heavily influenced by Chopin and contains several of his pieces in it. Plus, fighting the final boss to a fully orchestrated performance of the Revolutionary Etude is just damn sexy.

From any RPG? Oh man there are so many good tracks to pick from. I guess the most recent surprise I've had was the soundtrack for Sword of the New World (aka Granado Espada). I really wasn't expecting a soundtrack of that kind of quality coming out of what is otherwise a pretty standard Korean RPG. I like how they completely deviated from the standard kind of RPG soundtrack and went in a completely different direction with upbeat trance and techno for the places with a lot of action going on(which fit surprisingly well) and the occasional piano piece in places like towns.

I already knew DJ Tiesto was good, so I guess his tracks are a given, but the SoundTeMP guys really impressed me. I might be biased towards it since I love listening to good trance, but it's been a good while since I've intentionally went out looking for a game's soundtrack just so I could put it on my Ipod. It's hard to pick any one single track, but I love listening to Rosa Rosado, M.I.S.A. and Amaranth. The only track I could find on youtube was Supercooled Girl though, so there you go.

Hmm...i played SotNW. quit, but i also enjoyed the soundtrack.
i found 123 of the songs off my guilds website because...he found it somewhere O_o

Oh I have them actually, you can find torrents of them all over the place. I just couldnt find any streaming versions to post links to, so people could listen to them without downloading the entire 5gigs (or however much it was) of it
