Drop rates seem to be lower, but-
Crawlers do drop silk. But no quest items (stones, crawler calcs) so far.
Raffelsia drop tendrils and petals.
Gnats drop wings.
Djinn drop ash (which is rather nice for making firesand.)
Most of what I kill is campaign monsters, so not much else to report.
Fight in a zone ruled by a country and not beastmen, and you'll get crystals.Originally Posted by Gilanth

Do lower level jobs get an exp penalty for participating in campaign?
Also my other questions were kinda whooshed does anyone know what the red bar above areas when you highlight them in the campaign map do? Also do people know what or how to raise reconnaissance?
been goofing around a bit on my 66NIN in Campain, did very little other then melee and got 500+ a few times in very short fights(1-2 mobs and it ended), I would say no penalty.
I don't think there's a penalty, but it's much harder to rack up points the lower level you are, since you get a lot less for curing than dealing damage.Originally Posted by LinktheDeme

while i'm not 100% certain, i believe it may be possible for ws points to accumulate during a campaign battle. i've been doing campaign with a scythe of trials and taking out EP's between battles leisurely. i don't think that i did anywhere close to 300 pts on the EP mobs that i was soloing and can only assume that the ws's i did during campaign counted.
Does anyone know exactly how a nation gains "control" of an area? What I really mean is, lets say Windurst owns Jugner; how would Bastok or Sandoria go about trying to win control over it?
As far as I know right now, it's either the Beastmen or the Allies. There are NPCs for each respective nation in each zone though, which is confusing. But I see no way for Windurst to gain control of Rolanberry, for example, only Beastmen or Bastok can control Rolanberry.Originally Posted by nightmaric
Does anybody know where the Beastman Ensign is in Fort Karugo-Narugo [S]? Need it for Pit Spider and can't find it.
Edit: Nvm, Found it.
I'm thinking that either npcs spread out after we have all the areas in our general district... or players killing fortifications allows us to take over other areas on our own. Eldieme on Hades was at 0 sandy and full beastmen for a while, but after the change to whether or not players could freely hit fortifications, sandy had a full bar with beastmen at 0 less than 12 hours after maint. endedOriginally Posted by Rocl
I wonder how beaucedine/xarc are going to work for conquest. Might be the only area free to all 3 nation.
well i just beat down the fortification on rollanberry field to 0, and its still beastmen territory, any ideas what to do to take over the region? I'm on bastok side also, so whats wrong?
Campaign Tally sunday at 10. It works exactly like Conquest.Originally Posted by SamanosukeShiva

Check the trading thread if you have an EU copy and need NA.
thanks for the replies~ i'll see what i can do.
Sorry if this has been explained before but what are allied ensign and what do they do?
I assume because it gives the usual "there is no response" it requires a quest or mission to trigger it's purpose. I'm just curious.
Pic included.
