That's one of the first things I noticed when I came in. It was a mass of Carbuncle and wyvern names that were Fire Elementals. I didn't see anything in the water though. Then there was a random one by the AH.

It was rather loud to approach the mass though. And a bit laggy.

When I saw the Elemental, its name looked like a mash of Carbuncle and Fenrir. I figured it had something to do with later Windy missions, because of the whole Karaha-Baruha clip in the trailer... the forbidden summoning of Fenrir...

Maybe not though, if people saw it in Sandy too... Sandy on my server didn't have this, at least not while I was there...

This would be just like the time I saw, and think i screenshotted, some random elemental with an avatar's name by one of the crags near the choco person if I recall... Think there was one at each of the crags when I asked people to check >.>

pandy has the same Fire ele in southern san'd. couple of my ls members were wondering about it untill i reminded them of the time Rahmu took a vacation on siren sands for about a week right before the ps2 launch.

I am not sure about Windy, but the spot in Sandy with the fire elemental is the same (0, 0, 0) spot where phantom song and weapon skill effects happen in Sandy. Could someone check Windurst Waters to see if that cluster of lag is the (0, 0, 0) spot?

There are two maps for Windy Waters, north and south, dunno if that would affect that, but there is also another elemental a little away from the main glowing sun one.

The elemental is there on Unicorn too, and for some reason it lags the fuck out of my pc...game was running fine as it always does, and sure enough I run past that and the game got all choppy, and the music was lagging to the point it sounded like a broken record. Meh, it'll get fixed soon hopefully.

Here on Carby, it's not like just one blank elemental now... more like a clusterfuck of 10-20. Sometimes it lessens, and other times it stacks and becomes more, lagging the area around it; it's weird shit, cuz every elemental in the cluster has a pet-name, lol.
