Hi-Res on 360

So, I broke down and picked up the 360 version after hearing about the delay of WoTG for PC. I had assumed from reading in several places that the graphics were better than PS2, and maybe as good as PC on a low end system.

Lies, all of them lies. I have my 360 hooked up to my 22" LCD monitor with a vga cable (widescreen). I have no problems getting other games to play in HD, but for some reason FFXI refuses to adjusted to the correct aspect ratio leaving me with pinched graphics that give me a headache. I won't even start in on the fogginess and fuzziness.

I seriously need to have it at least in the correct aspect ratio. On the PS2 version there's a setting for this, but it's missing on 360. I've changed resolutions in the Dashboard without any luck. Is there a setting I'm missing?

ps2 runs at a lower res than is the minimum on pc.

xbox in nq def if much smooth and slight smaller.

xbox in 720p runs smaller than nq def version.

if you have
a) the cable itself set to hdtv
b) the xbox internal settings set to hd
c) w/e screen your running on set to decode right format
then ur running it in hd tho if your lower then 720 it may be larger as a result.
