Don't be hating on point systems.
It's crappy point systems you should hate.
Our system has priorities on gear, so for instance Haidate is NIN > WAR/MNK/SAM > Rest
However, to make it fair on long term members so random people don't swoop in and get the item for 2 points, if someone lower on the job priority has 50% more points than someone who is above them in priority, they have right to bid.
