We got the 30 sec warning right after that and unfortunately it was lost... we didn't know someone was afk at the time and couldn't pass. (something came up and they had to get up then- was just bad luck) We ended up just getting war feet out of the run. ;/

Oh I agree- they said something came up that required their attention right then, so I'm assuming they were focused on that rather than how much time we did or didn't have left in dynamis. It's unfortunate, but it happens.

Times when people have to afk for extended periods of time in my shell, or near the end, I have them bazaar thier glass for 100k. If I need to boot them I can, and they just repay me after. If someone is a dickhead and boots them for no reason, the bootee makes 100k!

Which is why the LS I'm in kicks people who do that, whether there were actually dingos involved or not. On the other hand, sometimes you just can't do shit, we lost an Abyss Cape on Wednesday in Qufim because it quite literally dropped about five seconds before we were booted out. Decent run otherwise though, got RNG BLM SAM MNK feet -1, DRG belt and NQ MNK hands.

Logging out takes 30 seconds. It even says so on your screen. Aggred, as a bunch of posts before mine doubtless say, that you should drop your glass with a few minutes to go if you know you're going to be busy; but sometimes shit (which is, lest we forget, situnational) happens, and you gotta go: If my baby was really eaten by dingoes, I wouldn't be typing, I'd be wrestling the dingo to the ground and hoping that my manly dingo-wrestling power would bring my child back to life.
