DORP V: This time it doesn't drop

Am I the only one who is annoyed at Salvage drop screenshots where a 35 drops (desired, not like a Skadi Mask) and someone in the alliance picks that moment to complain about how their preferred piece never drops? Doesn't feel like the kind of attitude you want in a Salvage group, or any group for that matter.

I complain when a multi-35'er drops Usukane. We currently have 5x Usukane 35s in my AU group, waiting to be upgraded, because bosses drop everything but usukane for us >: It's annoying, we're full of the other peices, have no usu, poo monks and sams in my little night group

I don't do Salvage but it annoys me when people do that in dynamis. You start to ignore people who say "xxx never gonna drop", "bah not xxx", "no xxx for me". It took me 1 year for my first dynamis piece in a once a week dynamis, but I see people QQing within the first 5 runs. Kind of a derail but eh.

Amen... used to royally tick off regulars in my LS when new people complain "whoa is me" after 3 runs when some people are still missing certain city pieces after more than a year of once per week Dynamis.

There was a SMN in my LS who got 5/5 in like 7 runs, and he would start begging the zone to drop SMN for him and complaining about drop rates literally 5 minutes into his first time in each zone. Maybe the rest of us should bitch more, because it sure as hell worked for him.

It took me nearly 2 years worth of dynamis to get Sorcerer's Petasos. And my competition was a new 75 BLM (long time member, just a new BLM). I'd go through several Xarcs and lose the lot everytime to BLMs that were at their first Xarc run. Makes me sick when they brag about it. But during that time frame I got 3 other BLM pieces (coat doesn't exist) and full WHM relic (accessories not included), so I can't complain.

Yeah I tried to make it clear I didn't mean the drops people don't want to see (Jesus Christ if I see another Freyr's Jerkin from LAC I'm going to shoot someone) but more along the lines of the screenshot someone posted earlier where you have someone who's clearly very excited his piece finally drops, a few other people congratulating them, and then the one dude who decided that was the most opportune moment to be like "damn how come my shit never drops".
