Campaign Ops Discussion

Two days in a row with full Ops list, and I have yet to be evaluated.

My money is that fame earned on the battelfield unlocks the other Ops, last tally I had the full list before asking for evaluation, then the new Ops wanished.
Could also be a way to know if your evaluation will result in a promotion or Status Quo: full list promotion, basic list Status Quo.

After being promoted to Brass ribbon I did 4/6 Ops (Failed Iron Anvil I x2 ; for a total on 9 different Ops completed.

It has nothing to do with fighting in Campaign fights imo. I didn't touch a single Campaign fight for 2 days and I got 10 new Ops when I checked and used 2 tags on them. I have held onto the new Ops for a few days now as well and although I have participated in a few more Campaigns I haven't been to very many total.

It most likely have a lot to do with people's priority when you have to vote for the strategy. I didnt have anything new yesterday, and got a bunch of new mission after tally.

I just ranked up in Bastok, got a Brass Medal of Service II
I also got tons of new Campiaign Ops. I'll list them, and I apologize in advance if this is repetitive.

Now that I have 10 new Ops, time to figure out which ones I wanna do.

How much morale/prosperity does bastok have on your server? When I ranked up I only got 2 new ops =/

Bastok is pretty bad on my server, so we have the lowest prosperity, though I can't give numbers at the moment. I personally had done very little campaign: I think I have done it three times; but I had compeleted all of the available ops I had before I ranked up. Can't think of anything else I could have done to influence which ops I unlocked though.

Edit: I also had 2 op credits at the time, just a note. When I get back to my ps2 tonight I will recheck my list and see if anything has changed.

Just did Granite Rose I (W). It's kinda gay that it requires you to take at least three people inside when I'm positive I could have soloed those 3 yags.

Not knowing what that one was about, I picked it today. Wish it would give you the option to do it solo. ><

On Asura, Bastok is Lastok. We have 3 areas under control, with Windy at 6 and Sandy at 5. I have been doing Campaign daily, but I cant get any new missions to open up. So far all I've done is the 2 Supply Procurement, Vangaurd X-I, the 2 Crafting missions. Help!

Exactly the same for me, I haven't gotten any new Ops ><.

Bastok is also last on Fairy with 3 areas under control, but I got access to new missions today after we took control of N Gustaberg, which we didn't have last week. That's the only thing that has changed that I can see.

So i tested something:

I had the Brass Medal (Rank 2), and all i did all week was Campaign Ops (no Campaigns - but i had done a lot before, 15k AN from just that).

I checked evaluation, they said I wasn't worthy, so i dc'd myself, did 1 campaign (bringing my total campaigns since last rankup to 1) and checked again and received Allied Ribbon of Bravery § § §.

So it seems it may be mostly based on Campaign Ops but there is a minimum number of Campaigns you must complete to rank up

just finished granite rose I (W). Had us go to Ghoyu's Reverie through Sauromogue Champaign [S] @ L-9 (just north of rng quest cave). 3 super easy Yagudo - 170 exp and 640 allied notes. The new battle music inside was pretty nice.

doing smokescreen right now but having trouble completing it.

i've done at least 2 campaigns where the nation seige's the enemy base but i havent been able to get cleared on it

campaign ops npc just says "you wanna abandon"

any insight?

Ok so I lost most of my missions, and I have not played in 2 days, since the day I got them. I also did not do any of them. Basically I can confirm that you don't lose them through any actions of your own, unless it is through inaction. My list is currently:
Resource Procurement
Stock and Awe I
Material Storm I
Supply Transport
Vanguard-X I
Supply Manufacture
Crystal Fist I
Iron Anvil I

As for my Nation status, I am from Bastok. I do not know what happened over the past two days, but in that time we still have control of the same three areas, all with waning resources. In the meantime, Sandy has gained two regions and Windurst has gained one.

Honestly, I see no rhyme or reason to this. My only thought is perhaps these missions only become available for a short time and you have to actually do them in order to keep them. Can anyone confirm or disprove this theory?

Edit: I did not check bastok recon status when I got these missions, but now it is 0. Sandy is also 0, and Windy is 1.

Edit 2: Completed both of the new missions, nothing doing. Zoned into Gustaberg, got Sigil, and still nothing new.

Edit 3: There's a lot of editing that could be done for the Bastok Campaign Ops. I know I could enter in some information, but I don't have editing ability I don't think.

Just did Streetsweeper I (S), I did two laps of the town and never saw a suspicious object. Gave up, went to lunch, came back to the game about an hour later. I zoned out, came back into town and found a suspicious object by the Westgate. Clicked it and got the 60 xp and 420 allied notes when I reported in.

This is indeed what you have to do. Zone out and zone back in, I think it might be glitched.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, by the suspicious objects depop and move around on their own, this may be why you can run around the entire town without seeing it.
