I had 6 tags saved due to a busy week so its not limited to 5
Already discovered that the limit is 7.Originally Posted by Tarnak

I'm sure that this question has been asked multiple times, but how many missions do you need to complete to get the next ribbon? I've done about 6 and nothing.
It's not like assaults, there is no such requirement. You're next rank up is dependent on your activeness as a whole in campaign and campaign ops. I don't think its been tested enough to say exactly what kind of requirements you need, but if you stay fairly active over the 5 days you will be fine.Originally Posted by lost071
Was it figured out what makes certain Ops available? I have brass ribbon and still can't get any of the Offensive Operations, Defensive Operations, Intel Gathering, or Military Training... and can't get the Security one after doing it once... nor has the second Supply transport become available to me yet...
And I've tried things when I see if campaign is going on in bastok/quadav areas... and still nothing.
Crimson Domino adds one point of Resources to the zone of delivery.
Slaughterhouse drops the Fortifications of the target zone by one point.
I hope higher tiers of these ops have greater results because too many people are spamming supply procurement and manufacturing missions for e-z ex-pee.![]()
Something odd I noticed is that at least 3 people from my nation all have the same ops available (which isn't very many). So there is the possibility that it may be based on your nation's standings rather than individual accomplishment.
However, the most odd thing is that San d'Oria (our nation) is in first place by far. We control as many regions as Bastok and Windurst put together. Yet there are people in those two nations that have many more ops available than we do. So it's apparently not based on the number of controlled regions. For reference, the zones we control are every one between Sandy and Jeuno, except Eldieme which is beastmen controlled. Windurst controls only their city, Saruta, and Garlaige. Bastok controls only their city and Gustaberg. All the rest are beastmen controlled.
The Ops I have available are only the supply and resource ones. Nothing for Offensive, Military Training, Security, Intel, etc.
Anyone know where the everbloom hollow entrance is in the Vunkerl inlet?

For awhile all I could get was the basic non-assault ones. Then last sunday when the Tally hit I got access to a bunch of new ones. I also got my 3rd medal then, so I attributed it to that, but then a few days later my friend was able to flag Brave Dawn (which I hadn't been able to). But my friend a couple of days later who'd just signed up was able to flag it as well with only having the sign-on medal.
This is going out on a limb and I have absolutely no proof, but is it possible that your Nation's results effect the options available to you, and your personal medals effect the Tiers you have access to?
Maybe you have to clear a certain number of different Ops in order to get access to the II's, or something along those lines.
All I know is, I've done 10 different ops now, and gotten nothing special. I have a lot left to clear still on my list, so I'm just going to keep doing that.
More pinpointing that your nation's conquest/tally affects the Ops you get in the week :
- An issue has been addressed wherein the Campaign Ops mission "Smokescreen" was offered even when no beastman-controlled areas existed within the homeland territory of a player's affiliated army.
*In the case where you have accepted the Campaign Ops mission "Smokescreen" under the circumstances described above, please try waiting for a beastman-controlled area to appear after the next tally of Campaign results, or simply cancel the mission.

Ah... clicked the link and it's a very recent update. Makes sense since I checked last night and I could still access 'Smokescreen I' even though there are no Yagudo controlled areas and I'm from Windy.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
So is it now safe to say that 'Smokescreen I', 'Hawk Eye I', and 'Slaughterhouse I' are unable to be completed if there is not a beastman controlled zone in your nation's area of influence? Are there any others?
I have a feeling the number IIs come when you rank up (not medal up), ie. what we are speculateing is the 6th promotion.

I forget. The third option on the ops list - those have not been available to me since we lost Gusta... or maybe our resources are completely full for the "regions" we control? I could see that making sense.Originally Posted by Lordwafik
On Sunday after tallies, I was able to do those expanded ops - Slaughterhouse and Streetsweeper and the like. I haven't been able to do it since. Maybe there's a limit to how many of these can be done per day? Per week? I find it odd they became available after tallies. Perhaps more available after JP midnight each day? Just some ideas.
At work at the moment, nothing I can look into myself, sorry.
I'll check it again tonight.Originally Posted by ircgeek

You can only do the Vanguard X mission in non-city areas that your country controls, so it makes sense that you wouldn't be able to do it if your nation controls no non-city areas.Originally Posted by ircgeek
Yeah, that was why I said some were a "no-brainer." The resource one I found peculiar since I've always had those ops available until now, and having full resources for Bastok regions was the only reasoning I could come up with. Usually the regions further away from the city are never full on resources, so nothing we probably noticed until some lame servers like my own dropped to one region.
