Thanks, Judai. Priran, what are your nation's conditions? Not current strategies, but same NPC. Mostly interested in Supplies and Resources stars you have at this point.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

All that War Climate info stuff seems odd. Windy seems to be doing better at repelling attacks and their Resources are higher in most places then Sandy/Bastok, yes Sandy and Bastok have like 5+ Stars for Resources and Supplies. Plus, Windy is Recon Lv3 and the others are Lv0/1. From looking at it all, it really doesn't make much sence to me.

Have any of you actually gotten one of these to drop?, and if so, off of which type please.

Saw you got one but was just goofing off and got a Heavy Quadav Chestplate of a DC Mythril Quad in Pashow, right by the Fort, if anyone else is interested or anyone wants to add it on the BGwiki or anything~

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

Well this is my thinking. Resource Procurement Ops generate Resource levels. Supply Manufacture Ops consume Resources to generate Supply levels. Supply Transport Ops consume Supplies to increase the "Resource X/150" levels in a specific area. The other Ops either consume Supplies and/or Resources or at the very least require your nation has a certain amount of Resources or both Supplies and Resources for clearance, and improve various national stats or reduce corresponding beastmen stats, depending on the Op. However, because Crystal Fist I is the easiest, least time-consuming Op, it's used by the majority of players, resulting in low Resource levels for most nations, and the availability of few Ops. This in turn creates something of a circular problem, since the nations that have more Ops available will have people doing a wider variety of Ops and thereby consuming fewer Resources, keeping them at 2 stars or higher, while the nations that only have 3 categories will still have the majority of players spamming Crystal Fist, making it difficult to ever reach the point where they have a sufficient amount of Resources for the wider selection of Ops. But need more info on the conditions of nations and what missions they get to see if what I've proposed here has any basis in fact.

Thought you had to break their horn to make it drop. If you are killing on blm, that might be why you didnt get any.

    :bastok:

Stock and Awe II: Turned in Peiste Stinger. Was 3k on AH.

    Crystal Fist II:

My level 19 Smithing was a no go.
My level 39 Goldsmithing was good to go.

    Got asked for 3 different synths, one was a sardonyx that's only a fire crystal and a red rock. I failed it the first time too, by running out of time (and the odd thing was I hadn't hit enter yet to get asked for crystal) -.-;

This seems reasonable and like something that should be investigated further. Gonna be pretty hard to get concrete numbers though unless we can somehow control the entire population of a server >.>

Yeah, even if you don't advance the text after seeing the item to synth you can still fail the mission by taking too long. Happened to me before.

Best way, probably, is just to have somepage or bgwiki open and the cursor in the search box, and alt+tab back to the game. Talk to the NPC and as soon as you see the item, immediately alt+tab and type in the item, hit enter, glance at the result for a split second and quickly alt+tab back to relay the information. If you're lucky, you might make it just in time.

Don't talk to the NPC and then alt+tab, open your browser, load up somepage or bgwiki, scroll to the search box, then start typing.

Just finished Brave Dawn II. If you had trouble with that Trained Crab, well then I don't know if you're ready for this.

    Are you ready?

I don't think you are. Well.. okay.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

just to be curious, does no one have a star by their freelances when they check their nations standing?

Mine for bastok has a star by the freelance catagory. its something like this for bastok on Asura

    Funding: *
    Supplies: *****
    Resources: *
    Skill: *
    Production: *
    Freelances: *

The only freelances i have seen fighting for bastok on asura has been the girl and her excal escort. Im just curious if other servers with nations with freelances still come up unknown or actual stars.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

Bastok has two here, and I think the NPCs are Chouh Moui (w/e I can't spell that skanks name), and then Killwich and his woman. So if the stars are the literal number of NPCs then I guess Kilwich+Whoever count as one freelance NPC and are a joined pair.

Got Brave Dawn II back tonite. With the same exact stats as before, including the Recon Lv3. Haven't really done anything special that I know of, participated in alot of Campaign but I had been doing alot of it anyways.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

Did Stock and Awe II for Bastok. Only needed to get a Wyvern Wing and got 190 exp and 680 Allied Notes. Had an extra tag so decided to try Vanguard-X II. I brought the NPc to the same fortification as last time but didn't let me finish (might have to do something with Campaign?) so decided to try the "farther" one and didn't give me anything either so I failed. I was thinking maybe have to bring it to the Bastok zone or maybe I did something wrong. If anyones find out about Vanguard-X II let me know.
