Good?
I tried defending a rival nation's and didn't get it, but came to one of mine and defended Pashhow and got the reward.

And yeah that looks good, no clue how of a tier they'll go though, of course
No it's not possible, and yes it has to be one of yours. If your nation's "fronts" don't have any beastmen-controlled areas, then there are Ops you just can't do right now. They actually mentioned this in the update details:Originally Posted by Starless

They didn't mention Hawk Eye I or Slaughterhouse I, but I can't see how you'd do those either. An issue has been addressed wherein the Campaign Ops mission "Smokescreen" was offered even when no beastman-controlled areas existed within the homeland territory of a player's affiliated army.
Has there ever been a difference of reward from the same Ops? Maybe based on national ranking or otherwise. I just want be absolutely sure.
Second, so it appears tier IIs are only available to those who have reached the highest ribbon? Again, want to make sure.
I appreciate the recent responses from those with a wide variety of Ops, although it would seem now, based on what Rocl reported, that Resource levels are unrelated to the availability of Campaign Ops. The only other thing I would ask is that Rocl or someone else from that nation on Bahamut is to check the national conditions one more time tonight or tomorrow if the elusive Ops are still available at that time, in case the conditions values from that NPC update slowly or on long intervals.
The only other possible relation to national conditions could be Production, since all of the nations who receive all of the Ops have at least two stars, while those without the Ops have only one, although I suspect that much like Reconnaissance that could be attributed to an effect of having certain Ops available, rather than to the cause.
For the Vanguard-X II mission the only difference I see is that the NPC now runs at normal speed?
At first I thought it was great since we'd reach the tower faster, but without +movement gear its annoying to catch him when he runs away.
What are the objectives for bastok's
*Granite Rose
*Brave Dawn
*Deltra Strike
?
EDIT: I mean in-game text, like the summery NPCs give you while you activate them. (not a general idea of the ops or what the mission menu says).
Signed up for Stock and Awe II (W) and was asked for Yagudo Kote. I spent about 2 hours last night farming Initiates and whatever else was up between pops in West Sarutabaruta [S] on DRG/WHM, but no drop yet.Did finish off a merit though. 8)
Sprinter's Shoes are your friend, /THF for Flee if you're really in need (but it wipes Quickening).Originally Posted by Gilthas
Stock and Awe II (Windurst) asked me for a Rafflesia Petal.. luckily one on AH at the time :O
I noticed that instead of running remotely towards the tower, he starts to make a B-line towards the gate sentry. Crimson Cuisses + Sprint Shoes are your friend in this mission, because he is a bit faster than the first one.Originally Posted by Gilthas
On another note, has anyone found the ??? in Jugner for Crimson Domino? That's going to bug the crap out of me until it's found. :/ Or is this ??? like?
I did several Vanguard missions. The NPC behavior seems to be random.
I've got two types of behavior before:
Chicken NPC: Keeps whining about his comrades back at the barracks.
Idiot Hero NPC: Keeps chasing imaginary mobs to kill.
Never got the NPC exemplified in the wiki that calls us slowpokes.
I just ran ahead of him within clicking range and my target on him (not locked). If he said anything, I clicked him and retargeted as I kept going.Originally Posted by Edrick

When I checked my Ops list, I was missing a bunch of Ops.. So I did Streetsweeper II, since it was one of the few I hadn't done on the list.
Stock & Awe 1,2
Material Storm
Neither set of Supply Transport
Streetsweeper 1,2
No Delta Strike
Crystal Fist 1,2
Iron Anvil
No Smokescreen; No Beastmen Areas though
Pit Spider
Neither Aegis Scream
Granite Rose
Neither Intel; No Beastmen Areas though
Neither Brave Dawn
I did Streetsweeper II and when I got back to the Mithra, my full list was back(all bolded ones returned)... So idk. \o/
Had Stock and Awe II (W) ask me for a Tuft of Dhalmel hair. Another LS mate got asked for 4 Gnat Wings.
ouch.. fck those gnats
Another 3 hours so far tonight on WHM/THF farming for a Yagudo Kote, still no drop. This sucks so bad.![]()
Been following this thread trying to uncover the secret of OPs availability... without much success.
For the longest time I had only the three "basic" categories of OPs:
Resource Procurement, Supply Transport and Supply Manufacture. The fortunes of Bastok waxed and waned, Campaign updates came and went and my rank rose, all to no effect. Finally, on teusday I logged in and finally had OPs available in most other categories (Intel being an exception). I did Streetsweeper I and Aegis Scream I successfully and returned to the Bastok OPs rep. Still had all OPs available. While I decided which to try next, I rested to regain MP. When I got up, all the new OPs were gone. However, I did have a new OP credit available (3->4 in the time I was resting).
So, I don't know what triggers OPs to come and go, but it seems an evaluation may take place at the time your new OP credit is awarded.
Evaluations are available a set 5 days (120 hours) from when you either joined your nation or from when you had your last evaluation. It has nothing to do with Op credits.Originally Posted by midguardian
