Short story even shorter, don't do it there, you'll waste credits.
I did Slaughterhouse on two characters there. There are two ??? spots, I was only able to use one of them to complete the quest. I did Hawk Eye with the other one, I am not sure if you can do Hawk Eye on the ??? that I did Slaughterhouse on.

Tried it 3 more times in 3 other zones. Failed it every time.

The bomb dropped, then after about 10 seconds depopped and gave me the "nothing out of the ordinary" message.

No one else since the 2 people I mentioned in my original post have run into any problems doing this. Either there's something I don't know, or the mission is bugged.

I drop the bomb, walk about 15' away and wait. Same thing plenty of others have done, and completed. Only difference is for me it fails.

    Sucks.

I haven't seen anyone mention Deep Cover III...

I hadn't had a problem with I or II when I just went up to Campaign NM Yagudo and their lackeys framed them nice on the screen, faced them, and used the Fiendtrapper.

However, this time around ,on Deep Cover III, I did the same thing and took all 5 plates as usual, 3 NMs and 2 standard Campaign mobs and he didn't accept one of them. He said to go get the bigger badder Yagudo, not the weak Fledgling ones I photographed. I don't know what the shit he wants honestly, unless he's talking about photos of actual standard NM yagudo or perhaps High-level Yagudo in Castle Oztroja (given that these ops were made available along with that zone). Anyone succeed at this?

I am running into the same problems, she rejected all my pics, and what's shitty about this is I don't know how to get another camera or plates from her, unless I have to go to pankration to get more?

My usual plan of action is to get so annoyed that I /toss my camera and film and cancel the op... unless I'm missing the option to get more plates as well? :/

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

    For Deep Cover 3.

#1 Tried a Neck chopper in ronfaure...failled because the orc was too weak
#2 Voked a bowshooter or something in Jugner, zoned and gave it. Worked
#3:Voked a drg orc on the way to davoi and trained it away
#4: Linked a mnk orc and took a screenshot of it.
Died, reraised, died again, punched the wall next to the computer and traded back the picture. Last 2 worked.

For all 3 pictures, he said "it was so clear he could see the grass and other details". My recommandation is to go in juger/meri/pash on a job with sleep, and get 3 T beastmen near dungeon entrance.

Interesting, so by "Stronger mobs" she actually wants you to take pictures of weaker ones .

Ah well, least I can finish that op now, i like it.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

I heard that you can save unused Fiend Plates and use them in subsequent Deep Cover missions. But now that everyone knows what to do, this trick seems unnecessary.

For one of the posters above:
Fiend Trapper and Fiend Plates are not the same thing as the Pankration Soul Trapper and Soul Plates.

I drop the bomb, walk about 15' away and wait. Same thing plenty of others have done, and completed. Only difference is for me it fails.
The bomb can't hurt you, just stand there after clicking the ???. I cleared Slaughterhouse 1 2 and 3 all in the past 48 hours so they really aren't glitched.

Well, I assume "stronger" mean more risky in this mission. Taking picture of campaign mobs is too easy.

If this was said somewhere earlier I apologize, I only looked at the last few pages.

Which Ops have to be done on Beastman Controlled zones?
Hawkeye, Smokescreen, Deep Cover, Slaughter House, and Search and Seizure?

Not looking forward to Smokescreen 3, I had to wait forever to get 2 done.

Your list is correct except for I'm pretty sure Deep Cover can be done anywhere~

Smokescreen used to be easy as hell, but since mobs started protecting the Fortifications and the greatly increased time between offensive Campaigns has made it annoying. I've had more problems with Aegis Scream III because I can't get enough points in one defensive Campaign so I have to hang around the zone until another battle or two happens to pass it.

You heard correct. I did Deep Cover I/II/III in a row, and got I/II done by only using 6 of the 10 plates.

For Deep Cover III, I took 1 of a NM in Campaign, realized he didn't like it, and booked it to Davoi (it's Davoi, no matter what they name it). Took a pic of a Strategist, some other Orc by the Strategist, and the Cupholder (yes, you heard me, there exists the mighty Orcish Cupholder). All 3 of these were met with accepts, and I had to toss the 6 extra plates i had.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

Only some Campaign Generals worked for Deep Cover III. I know that the BLM general didn't work, and from that I guessed that the DRG General wouldn't work either. Bakgodek, Deathlord Rojgnoj, and maybe the warmachine was what worked for me.

Just had this exact same problem, done the same as I always done perhaps theres a percentage chance of failure? A Campaign did start just after I planted the bomb could that be a factor?

I am having trouble with smokescreen III, do you have to remain in the zone until another campaign battle if you do not get the clear message? So far I have racked up about 7k xp/5k AN attacking rolanberry[s] and no clear message. I have been warping between fights though.

I cleared Smokescreen III post-patch with a lot less XP and Notes by staying in a single zone (Meriph). I would estimate maybe 3k AN total.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but...

Whats the point of campaign ops? I get some xp and AN ok. Not the biggest return I can get more easily campaigning... I don't see any reason to do them, is there some reward I'm missing or maybe something in the dats... maybe its just the storyline I don't know. Can someone fill me in?

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

There is no other real material award. You can reap their benefits during campaign however because they all have a direct effect on campaign battles. For instance, I enjoy chugging body and mana boosts or reraise scrolls during campaign for things like staying alive. And so if I understand it right, completing synthesis crafting Ops, and/or supply Ops ensures I can keep using handy temp items. Steel Reserve raises the level of fortification etc.

If you want just AN it seems to be the fastest and easiest way to get large chunks of AN.

    Re: Campaign Ops Discussion

I have two reasons for doing ops:

    1. Completion. I like to see lists of finished things, I guess. At the very least, I'd want to do the first tier of each op to try out something new. Also, there's no guarantee SE will put in something like Captain for completing all ops, but they might.

    2. Low-level jobs. For this, once I don't have any more unique clears to do, I just wait until 7 tags are stored up and do the same (safe) op 7 times once a week. This is especially good on jobs under level 20, since I can't use exp scrolls on those. Obviously, when taking a job from 1-37, campaign battle doesn't work so well.

Just wanted to post some information for Crimson Domino II for West Saruta [S] OPs since it was highly annoying running around the entire zone spamming the tab key till I found the ??? for the Lost Supplies. Anyhow, I hugged the right wall after zoning out of the town and found the ??? at J-5. Glad my search is over u.u
