I did Aegis Scream, smokescreen, crystal fist, vanguard-x, and a 5th whos name I can't remember. Was the offensive, defensive, escort, recipe, and intelligence gathering missions.
This morning before I left about 10 minutes after JP midnight, I had a new OP tag. All the new missions were gone. I went and got evaluated, ranked up, and the new missions were still gone.
Its so random. People in my shell were reporting missions still being open while others in the same city were reporting the missions not showing up. Not sure if its glitched or if theres some other hidden modifier that no ones figured out yet.
Are the Gate Sentrys for Vanguard-X not present if the area is under beastman control?
I've been trying to do this mission in N Gusta and there is no NPC at the Grauberg zone. N Gusta is currently under beastmen control (lolBastok).

that sucks. maybe you can try it with the gate guard just inside bastok? since its technically got a gate guard and is technically a campaign battle zone
Just did Streetsweeper I (S), I did two laps of the town and never saw a suspicious object. Gave up, went to lunch, came back to the game about an hour later. I zoned out, came back into town and found a suspicious object by the Westgate. Clicked it and got the 60 xp and 420 allied notes when I reported in. What was a bit odd was the fact that there were actually 3 suspicious objects by the Westgate, and when I clicked on one, all of them disappeared.
I'm not certain if zoning repops the suspicious object for you, or I just got lucky and someone else started the Op and I took theirs. But you never get a failure message and Rasdinice doesn't tell you that you were unsuccessful after even an hour+ or after zoning. He just gives you the option to abandon the mission. So one would hope that zoning back into town would repop the suspicious objects for you.
Duh, /slaps head. Of course, thank you.Originally Posted by Tyrath
Guess I'll have to try escort in Grauberg then, or wait for Bastok to get it's act together.
Anvil I (S): Alchemy:
Animal Glue -> Mercury
Thats it.
140 XP, 580 notes.
does the mission/quest log keep track of the OPs you completed?
if it doesnt maybe they're not as relevant as assaults were.

I got my rank up ribbon as well. New missions open to me now (including material storm and iron anvil) are:
Supply Transport: Crimson Domino I
Security: Delta Strike I
Offensive Operations: Pit Spider I
Defensive Operations: Granite Rose I
Intel Gathering: Slaughterhouse I
Edit: Just finished slaughterhouse I. It's almost exactly like Hawk Eye. I NPC warped to jugner, waited for campaign to end and ran up to a ??? sitting on the orcish fort. It dropped a qiqrin/goblin mine on the point and a short time later it exploded. Rechecking the ??? gave the message "The stronghold has sustained considerable damage" and 140 limit points on the spot. Returning to Rasdinice gave me 580 allied notes.
How many credits did that cost? Just one?
Yeah, one just like hawkeye. An aside, Offensive Operations: Pit Spider I and Defensive Operations: Granite Rose I both require 3 members at least, according to the NPC.
The new ribbon only gave me 2 new ones, and I still can't access any additional to the 3 base ops...
What kind of "intel gathering" is this?Originally Posted by Spoony Bob

The mission description reads "Help improve the efficiency of our nation's siege tactics by infiltrating an orcish stronghold in one of the areas near San d'Oria and destroying key locations within the fortress."
Also, it directly ties into the previous intel gathering mission by using the exact same ??? point.
Has anyone undertaken the bastok mining op, and if so, where do you find the majority of your mining points?

What exactly is the time limit for Crystal Fist? I tried Cooking, he asked for Roast Carp, I said Fire/Rock Salt/Moat Carp, and he said "I'm sorry, but we don't have the time to wait for you to remember all your recipes." It took me 60 sec from when he said "Which crystal is required?" to my third answer, but only 11 sec from answering the crystal question. Was I too slow, or is the quest just bugged?
Does that failure message indicate running out of time or giving the wrong recipe?
to poster above: read the rest of the thread.
Something I've been thinking about with the missing Ops, if you got extras (compared to the 3 at first rank and 2 at second most have) how much campaign have you done? Starting to think that the campaign fiends are the ones getting all the extra ops at each rank.
