Just did some Ops. I'm brass wings rank, others were wings 4 rank whatever the hell that is.

Granite Rose 1 for 5 stars: 255 limits/960 AN

Pit Spider I for 5 stars: 255 limits/960 AN

It stayed 5 stars entire time and didn't have any apparent immediate effect on Bastok/Quadav prosperity/morale/resources. Have repeats always resulted in slightly lower points? How silly. We were trying to see if we could get Pit Spider II to appear but if it can effect it, it didn't for us atm.

This is what I was trying to say before. 5 stars (or any # star) isn't a fixed multiplier, but a range of multipliers. So it would seem that 5 star bonus is X%~50% increase. Probably 0~10%, 11~20%, etc for each star, but that's just speculation.

Actually yeah, if you assume the base Exp/AN is what it was pre-patch (170exp/640AN), then both values work out for a modifier of 1.5 the first run, 1.495 the 2nd run and 3rd runs, 1.49 the 4th run, and 1.485 the 5th run.

So maybe...
1 star: 1.000~1.100
2 star: 1.105~1.200
3 star: 1.205~1.300
4 star: 1.305~1.400
5 star: 1.405~1.500
(all increasing in increments of 0.005)

The first thing to check would be if the multiplier is based on the time the Ops is chosen or the time it is completed. Would also be good to see how often it ticks back up (assuming it works like Chocobo Rental and Zeni pop cost in that the multiplier goes down with completed Ops and up over time). Then finally find the cutoff points for the multipliers for each star rank, probably by doing an Ops that's easy to complete fast like Streetsweeper, or Deep Cover if you've already got the plates.

From today's update:
"- Increased the minimum rewards that can be received through Campaign Ops."

Hope they're back to at least pre-June-update rewards now.

I cleared Pit Spider 3 for Sandy on Valefor. I'm currently the 3rd Wing rank, but I did that Op back before they were introduced. It was actually kinda hard... you need more than 3 people to keep all the mobs busy before they kill your NPCs in 3 rounds.

There is no NPC in Pit Spider, that is the one where they run away. Granite Rose is the NPC.

But at least someone else out there did it, guess I will hope that it shows up later this week.

The multiplier you receive is based on the number of stars when you COMPLETE the Op, which may be different than when you first signed up. I accepted a 1-star Op but didn't complete it until a few days later when it was worth 5 stars. The extra-large reward I received was definitely based on the 5 stars.

So I just burned a few tags doing Steel Resolves. I did a 2-star Steel Resolve II, then did Steel Resolve III which started at 3 stars and moved down to 2 stars after two wins. Here is what I got:

Steel Resolve III (old award 280/860)
3 Stars

338/1040 (x1.210)

2 Stars
336/1032 (x1.200)
334/1027 (x1.195)

So it looks like the upper limit of 2 Stars is either 1.200 or 1.205, and the lower limit of 3 stars is either 1.205 or 1.210. I'm going to guess it's 3 stars lowest is 1.205 and 2 stars highest is 1.200, since it fits with the highest award for 5 stars being 1.500. I'm not sure why I skipped 1.205, but I'm guessing someone did a Steel Resolve III while I was doing mine, unless there are just certain multipliers you never get for whatever reason. Another thing worth checking is spamming a very common 1-star Ops to see if you ever get a 1.000 modifier, I'm going to speculate it starts at 1.005, meaning every Star would have 20 modifiers in that range at 0.5% increments.

Ah yes, sorry. It's basically the same deal though: lots o' mobs running as soon as you warp in, in like 3 different directions. It's probably doable with a trio, but I'd bring more to be safe, in case it doesn't pop up again for 7 months.

Speaking of which, finally got Pit Spider II yesterday.
As far as I know there are six mobs in there, two teams with one carrier and two guards each. What I'm wondering about, is whether they're together or do they spawn at completely different spots and run into different directions?
Just to make sure, don't really want to fail this.

they spawn close enough that if you run in right away you can sleepga before they split.

I'm sure someone has asked this before, but I've looked few a few pages of this thread and a few other threads and couldnt find an answer.

So, does anyone know how much about how Ops effect ranking up? Would it be worth doing specific ones? Right now I'm just spamming Aegis Scream I and Smokescreen I as I do campaign battles so I get about 500 AN for no extra effort.

Yuck. How man Op credits are you holding atm and whats the strats? Only hope is it's not available due to strat or funding or credit amounts. Otherwise lol taking over strongholds.

I'm not sure on credits, as I asked someone with higher rank to check (I've been kind of slacking and barely make Wings level)

The strat and funding sounds plausible, I'll give it a check after I get back today if some other San d'Orian hasn't already.

woo hoo!!!!!!!!!! Pit Spider 3 finally popped last week. All I am missing now is Prying Eyes (been lazy), and the two tier 4 Supply Manufactures (haven't been up do to lack of zones). Well that and unknown one every city has.

Sandy has lost all zones except Sandy itself. Resources at 166/300, Morale bar full but Prosperity almost empty. Only Stock and Awe I & II, Material Storm I, Crystal Fist amd Iron Anvil available out of all Ops. I'm Allied Ribbon of Glory. Was wanting to go plant bombs to help get Ronfaure back

Just tried to do Slaughterhouse II. Planted bomb, then went and engaged some mobs. Couldn't get the damage message after. Do you have to not do anything whilst waiting on the bomb?

So heres a question:

Is Lakshmi the only server that has no record of an Orc Pauldron on the AH? Got this requested for Stock and Awe IV and im guessing it either drops off merit level stuff in La Vaule or has such a microscopic drop rate that it might as well not exist.

Bahamut doesn't look like it has a record of them either.
