Re: Debuffs - How to Improve Their Effects?

For all practicality, is there like a repository of the estimated MND values of exp mobs/HNM?

I mean looking at that graph, it seem that Slow II with 1 or 3 merits doesn't have that huge of a difference unless you can manage the 50+ MND difference, which seem unlikely to happen on most mob where those extra percentage from the merit would actually matters.

A NIN w/ a Terra/Earth Staff just increases his accuracy, it doesn't have an effect on the potency of the spell.
NIN's debuff has static potency AFAIK

? The max amount of accuracy that can be deducted by this spell is -25? Still not too sure.
actually, there is a data about the blind, which is below.

    viewtopic.php?f=31&t=19137&hilit=kurayami

    All Ninjutsu are static values.

    Ichi is -20
    Ni is -30

Against Colibri Lv72(INT88) (ignore part about target INT, target MND is what affects blind potency - http://vanamon.blog53.fc2.com/blog-entry-23.html)
    Blind -23
    Blind II -34

    http://vanamon.blog53.fc2.com/blog-entry-9.html

This had been Kenshoed last year.

Also, the cap for Blind and Blind II is -30 and -40 respectively, both requiring ?IM60, as per http://willatwill.blog87.fc2.com/blog-entry-173.html.

I'm believe skeleton type which has high dark resistence resist dispell occasionally.
I threw all undead into the dark resistance pile- skeletons, ghosts, sark stalkers/fomors, hounds, etc.

Proto-Ultima is one of the fights I don't hate going on RDM/DRK because I can Abs-MND it. When it sticks, it is happy-fun-good time Paralyze II and Slow II party for everyone. But yeah, if you love your RDM and you love Slow and Paralyze, throw out Abs-MND and Shock. Also if you have a two BRD party, give that RDM some MND etude loving.

indeed, I not really categorize ghosts into same undead category with those skeles, formors etc. Since that ghost seem to be have 0 dark resistence but have ice resistence. For a usual rdm, they won't have any problem to land a sleep on ghost. Unlike the others where only lulaby or you have 1% to land a sleep.

Are you guys going to wiki this stuff if it's not in there already.
it seems like a waste to create a topic and research so much information to not even have at least edited the wiki once with what you learn.(if you have to ask it must not alrady be on the bgwiki)
