No, 1 penalty would not be so outrageous, but 30 fucking yards is unacceptable. If they had started that last possesion on the 25, maybe even the 22, and the same plays happened they would have won. Yelling and shit is one thing, taking retarded penalties is another.

Wow patriots almost lost.... and by 2 yards

Playing football through grade school and high school, emotions will get in the way in close games like this. Some people can control it better than others obviously...Usually the people with big ego's will go a little nuts.

The Ravens defense was fired up via their leaders Ray Lewis and Ed Reed playing the game of their lives for former teammate Sean Taylor and I think the rest of the defense tried to match it, especially when the game was coming down to the wire.

But if you really think about it, the penalties possibly helped the Ravens. It made it so the clock didn't run at all on the kick off (Even though the Ravens return game was doing a decent job all night, I don't think they would have got much better field position to be honest). Like I said, possibly, anything could have happened, but returned kick offs run at least 5-10 seconds off the clock.

PSS: Damn you Patriots for false starting on the next play because Maronie got fuckin stuffed.

I'm a Pats fan and a Baltimore resident. I defend virtually everything the Pats do. As a football fan, I gloat when perhaps gloating isn't due, as any true football fan would do.

On that note, I have only four things to day about that game:

1) That was the most EPIC game I have EVER witnessed. PERIOD.
2) Baltimore won
3) I'm unsure, but I may have had 4 concurrent heart attacks
