2. Is it really unexpected that there can be unforseen glitches requiring patching?

For the week or two right after a expansion my stance would be that you should expect maintenances to occur.

I heard they're going to add a warning system for Campaign by zone a la Besieged, map indicators of invading forces and allied forces for those holding Allied Tags, and an up-to-the-minute announcement of remaining enemy waves before the end of a skirmish.

For the week or two right after a expansion my stance would be that you should expect maintenances to occur.

It's just kind of a poor reflection on them since it clearly indicates that their testing fails and they have very little to no unit/regression testing for anything. That, and it seems like their developers suck at using revision control or something and tend to accidentally add changes into the builds without telling anyone. Like the glitched evasion in that tier10 assault, for example.

I also wonder how many times these ninja fixes are actually the same embarassed developer who fucked something up trying to just stealth the fix in to save face, leaving the rest of the dev team puzzled as to what actually went on (though this is pretty easily detectable if they feel like sleuthing a little).

As posted above, I really hope they do add something that tells you if forces and beastmen are preparing to attack a certain zone. So tired of going to a Campaign area in the middle of the attack or right when it's ending.

Other than that they seem to be fixing most of the problems that have been occurring so pretty soon I don't think they'll have to do any more maintenances.

Also, once all the glitches and small balance mistakes are worked out, Campaign will probably be freaking awesome, so each patch makes me happy knowing it will get closer and closer to greatness.

I commissioned a plugin that would notify you when campaign started in the zone you were in, Im betting though it could be set to notify you where others were starting

maybe a website could be set up for this as well

Einherjar on hades flat out doesnt work, and dynamis kicks us out 15-45min early... This is more important than those stupid Escort for hire quests.
