More useful than Vulcan's and Terra's, imo.
    Totally true after update with these additional inventory slots, but before it was really hard to find extra space in inventory for Kirin's Pole.
    And totally don't need it if that damn madame will ever drop some lvl 35 feet piece...

    Re: HQ Elemental Staves : Order of Importance

    In all honesty I never have problems with just a straight up dark staff. I am 6/8 on HQ staffs, I sold back the HQ light staff because BLM is my only mage job, and well it's pointless mostly (if you have other mage jobs than this can be useful).

    Now I'm sure people are going to jump down my throat for saying this but I was 6/8 for a while before getting HQ light and dark staffs, and when I got around to getting the HQ's and using them for about 6 months I realized they were making no noticeable difference. I have compared my sleeps, drains and aspairs with the NQ dark staff vs. people in my LS that use HQ dark staff and have found that during any events we do where we use alot of BLM's (all dynamis zones, sea, limbus etc.) there is no difference that I can find.

    Shoot me if you want, I'm just going off the observations that I have made going BLM to LS events for the past 2.5+ years. Maybe leveling up from 51-75 they would make some difference, but in my personal opinion at 75 NQ light and dark are just fine (speaking as a BLM only PoV).

    I would definitely get HQ Ice >> Thunder first though.

    HQ dark = 5% more on aspir and drain, and higher accuracy on sleeps.

    How can you not notice the difference on Sleep? Pluto's is mandatory.

    Sleeping mainly in all the dynamis zones and in limbus, I can definitely say that I hardly ever ever get resisted, and in Dynamis X where BLM sleep gets resisted a decent bit, I can easily say that my resist rate is the same as other BLM's at the event with HQ dark staff.

    I'm not trying to say that HQ dark staff is not any good (I'm sure thorough tests were done), I'm just saying that my personal observations over the past years has been that the differences (to me) are so minimal that they are unnoticeable, for at least the events that I do.

    I understand that the difference might be minimal, but to say that your resist rate is "the same as other BLM's" is simply untrue. Assuming other gear is identical, your resist rate is exactly 5% worse than a BLM with Pluto's. I respect your opinion, and I've made a few gil-saving choices of my own, but you can't exactly argue with that kind of math especially when then the 10%/15% staff bonus is well known. <.<;

    Even as a RDM with good enfeebling gear, I get the odd resist here and there in Dynamis. Especially on Palidan mobs. Currently working on Master Caster's Bracelets because that extra bit of accuracy could save my life, which is the same way I look at Pluto's Staff.
