I checked my itemized phone bill due to it was a little higher than I thought it should be and there it was!! At 5:48 since I ran out of anytime mins, Sprints billing system just decided to keep charging me past the 6pm (supposedly free time) and I ended up being charged 160 mins for $70! At most if my anytime mins had run out I should have only been charged for 12 mins tops.
I called Sprint to find out what was going on and inform them of the billing error. They agreed that they would take off the charges. I asked is this something that normally happens, and the rep said yes! I WAS SHOCKED! he went on to say it was like this with all wireless companies and their billing. I said, so if I had not checked my bill I would have been screwed out of the money then? To which his only reply was that it was very important to check your bills so this doesn’t happen. I told him that he may want to have his company look into this error due to it could be cheating all of their customers who DONT check their bills out of money. He just said that’s the way it is with all cell companies.
Anyways, please make sure you check your Cell phone bills if you do not have unlimited time and only have a certain amount of mins each month or you could be paying more than you should.
