I mean the opening scene where the camera flies down to the 2 clowns in the office building. The detail on the film took my breath away.

Was better then expected. My only gripe is that we didnt get to see enough of two-face. In both movies he got shafted in terms of on screen time. Is Two-face character that shallow that it couldnt hold a movie by himself?

anyway am I the only one that thought Bane when they saw Debo from Friday?

Wonder who the next villian will be. I hope they dont recast Joker and let it die with heath he really was fucking awesome in the movie.

Absolutely amazing movie. Comparing this movie to other superhero movies is completely laughable. It would be something like comparing Disney's Aladdin to the Lord of the Rings, and that's saying a lot considering that I LOVED Iron Man and the NEW Hulk (the old one sucked). These movie and those are in an entirely different league.

Fucking Heath Ledger. Ugh.

When I came out of the theatre I was overwhelmed by his character. Sometimes you finish watching a movie and you're excited, the adrenaline is pumping or whatever. But after this it's like this melancholy, overwhelmed feeling. And then you realize that there can never be another Ledger Joker, and you're sad - even if they didn't play on doing another movie with the Joker, there could always be that possibility of it. Now there is none.

That's really depressing. His version of the Joker was just chilling. Just perfect.

Going to see it again on Sunday in IMAX, and I'm deeply saddened yet again that Ledger isn't around anymore.

Saw this at the Thursday Midnight showing. God damn, I can't remember the last time I was so hyped up for a movie that sold out in 3hrs at a theatre showing this movie in 6 different rooms.

What everyone has said so far is basically what I would have said, so not going to repeat it. I didn't mind the voice of Batman at all. Was a nice touch, made him feel "darker".

My favorite scenes were the "Pencil Magic Trick", "Semi Flip", and "Driver's Bad Luck" I'm sure you'll be able to figure those out.

Ive been wondering who the next villain is going to be. I doubt they'll think whoever it is will top this joker, but to even get close enough, and keep the realism, I'm thinking the only only option would be Bane. not stupid lowlife thug bane or lolbatmanandrobin Bane, but batman back breaking bane. no matter what they do though, I doubt they can top Dark Knight. Maybe they'll just stop with this film.

see, alot of the focus wasn't so much on batman alone: so much was going on with Harvey Dent's character build up: Gordon and Batman's plans for the mob, the Joker's actions undoing everything.

the final monologue by Gordon and the scenes that played during it brought me to tears
