scarecrow was the shit in No Man's Land
He looks the part, but I'll still be disappointed because there won't be any Ledger-Joker.

everyone is sad he was going to be a big part of the third movie as well, but now we'll never get that version.
But since this movie we jumped in to Wayne Enterprises a bit i think Roland Daggett would fit in nicely as a "normal" villain so really attacking the batman on two fronts.
Spoiler: show
Absolutely incredible. Deserved it's hype. They nailed the Joker. Not a single boring moment, everything is either awesome, funny, or gripping on your feelings. But I'm sure everyone has said this already.
Concerning Iron Man vs Batman... well even Iron Man at his best can't really compare. It's not a fair fight. Iron Man has never had a good setting or many good characters aside from himself... certainly no good villains. Batman has it all and this movie made good use of it. Watch both.
Concerning a sequel... it's going to be a lot of the state vs Batman. If they have E. Nigma in it, he would work very nicely as an anti-villain: a detective who is obsessed with capturing Batman so he creates the Riddler to trick him. I just hope they don't break his no-kill clause or at least if he does it effects him. Bane would also be awesome. If the movie takes it in the "End of Batman?" direction, he would be perfect. And despite Ledger being gone, they certainly can do their best to try to bring back the character. Such a movie is destined to be great, but I don't think they can top this one.
EDIT: Also
1) Fucking love that Spiderman 3 is going to kicked off its throne. What a piece of shit it is. As a comic book movie or just a movie.
2) I loved Dent's private interrogation scene. His coin was never going to land on tails.
EDIT 2:
I know we were talking about reviews earlier... this is some rage inducing shit.

This is the third and only negative New York review I've found. Pretentious critics have a home.
Watched it tonight and I was blown away. The plot did meander a bit and the action sequences almost seemed unnecessary when compared to the deep character interplay between Batman and The Joker.
I thoroughly enjoyed Allan Eckhart as Harvey Dent; he's a good actor and did a fine job. I kind of feel like they took a bit from 'Batman: The Killing Joke' during the end segment where Two-Face captures Gordon's family and tries to break him down. That was another nice nod to that story along with The Joker's psudo-back story (ie. normal guy gets driven to insanity by his wife and his devotion to her))
I do see where some of the negative criticism of the film is coming from. The overall story didn't work very well and some of the action bits felt somewhat contrived, but the characters had real depth. The order-and-chaos duality of Batman and The Joker's relationship was explored nicely and both Ledger and Bale did fantastic jobs of digging deep into their characters to bring out some very special interplay.
I'm glad they left that in the movie, it definitely brought about a feeling of sadness but it made me treasure the performance even more. Easily the best Batman film made, best Joker, best superhero movie etc. etc. it was just a very good movie. Two of a half hours of great entertainment.
I heard about reviews complaining about how long it was, but I was so caught up in the movie, that I never even noticed the time. I'd only complain about the time if the movie seemed like it was just being stretched out, but I loved every second of it, I was sad to see it end.
No.
i saw it at midnight on release, there were 4 showings in my local area, 12, 12:01,12:02,:12:03. i got in the 12:02 showing, and halfway through the movie the reel cut out. it apparently happened in all the theaters here and the guy was fired over it. but uh, it happened when heath ledger was talking in the movie, and while the theater as a whole was black... there was a really fucked up line in the movie no one could understand that heath says. i figured i'd be an asshole, so i yelled: "HOLY FUCK ITS THE GHOST OF HEATH LEDGER!!" and was met with laughing from almost everyone. lol
I'll probably get flamed by ledger superfans for this; but yeah, i think jim carrey could pull it off.
We KNOW he has the laugh; the guy is a loon. He could pull off the mannerisms well. Jim is very capable of believable, non-comedy acting. Only thing though, is he would be better suited for a Batman: The animated series style joker; not the dark brooding joker Ledger portrayed.
9.7 rating on IMDB with 7000+ votes. It'll go down, but it has to take a huge hit to drop out of their top 50. Fucking nuts.
This is essentially the GTA4 of movies. Exceeded the hype and then some.
except gta4 didnt, but yes, this movie went way over and beyond expectations, very rarely do i want to pay full ticket price to see it a second time but this one would be well worth it.
yay for paid off reviewers, talk to people who played the game, bored within weeks, we have over 30 used copies sitting on the shelf, growing daily, it was just another gta game, this movie brought the series to a whole 'nother level. dont even think about comparing the two, they are leagues apart
correct and gta4 didnt live up to the hype, disappointed most people, you aren't correct in your statement is what i was saying.
this movie doesn't deserve to be compared to it, it's too great.
